I like your design but I think it needs a few tweaks. First of all, though the rendition of Max is great, I think it could be a bit smaller. Also the Natural Nutrition Program should stand out more, as you can barely see it. And a I don't know how it would look to have the dog's head coming out of a shamrock. I do like the color scheme as the orange seems to give it a healthy look (and there are carrots and sweet potatoes in the mix)
Well, now that I see the design with the clover, I think it's too strong. Since my market more of "alternative" crowd, I may have to look for something simpler and more subdued. Though others tell me I must have the dog in the logo. I never thought it would be so confusling. I like many logos, yours included, but I'm not sure it conveys the meaning I'm trying to get across. So far my dog food has been 's word of mouth (without any name or logo). People see my dog, they see that he's very healthy looking, and they trust that I'm feeding him the best. So it's hard to know really what I need in a logo. The more commercial, the less I think people will trust that it's really good for their dog. On the other hand, I need a nice logo for labeling, website and perhaps some merchandising down the road, so it should be something that people want to identify with for heir own dogs as well. So a bit more subtle may be better.
Thanks for your changes. I just have more suggestion, and that is to put a shamrock instead of the heart (or a shamrock inside the heart) and make it look more like the tag on his color as you did in #44). Thanks!
