Hello, I like the old time feeling of your designs. Entry #24 I like better than the others because the radiant lines match with the existing Lucasville Legends logo. The stars in #26 have that all-American feeling. Entries #23 and #24 are a little complicated the rectangle inside the retangle and color changes. Thanks for entering these designs and I am looking forward to seeing other designs. Please check out the sketches I just uploaded which may help (but no laughing because I know I am not an artist).
I am attempting to clarify this idea... I would like the Lucasville portion and the Media portion to be able to stand alone, but to also look like they are paired. That is because someday I may expand and have both Lucasville Media & Lucasville XYZ and I would like to drop in the XYZ to create that logo … It may be wishful thinking but let me know if you need further explanation about that. This "Media" logo contest winner and the other "Legends" logo will be often used together so I will be considering how they look together. Thanks, Janet
I like the simplicity of #33 and #38. So I just uploaded another sketch with 2 more ideas.
The seventh sketch is wedge shaped and sitting on top of the word LUCASVILLE (red) is the left side village and the right side (getting taller) is the city. MEDIA is located in the cityside. I see the top half as green. Maybe the word Media is black?
The eighth sketch is the world with the city of Lucasville identified by a landmark sign. Media has a worldwide reach.
These are great and close to what I have been trying to describe! I really appreciate you trying to put my thoughts into a logo. #51 The LUCASVILLE sign looks too small compared to MEDIA and I envision MEDIA being more 3D and also the ring it is sitting on is 3D. Hey, what about Lucasville being a flag or pennant? #59 I like the perspective. Is there anyway to have the LUCASVILLE sign pop from over the road? ____\^^^^^^/____ (similar to a brigde overpass)? And there is a lot of detail for a single color. #56 I like how the village transitions to the city and how readable LUCASVILLE and MEDIA are, but the perspective is off on the houses and city.
#51 - Let's try putting a blue LUCASVILLE under the planet. Simple font. Have a green (lime-line) "sound wave" (like it is transmitting around the world) wrapping around the planet (several times?) with green MEDIA in 3D. 2 colors blue and green
