hi, here is one of the versions you asked for - I'll work on the others and send them when they're done.

These look great. Can you experiment with the swirl pattern on #9 and #18, to take out the divet under the E? I just want to see what that would look like.

also - any other color ideas you can think of would be great to see.

Thanks,

For #9, I'd love to see a few different font options for the word JEWEL... Having trouble deciding if I like the one font or the two....

ugh its so hard to choose!! i love all of the ones you have added. a few more selections i'd like to see:

#9 in a silver color similar to #36

Once i pick my final selection, i would like the option of having a slogan added above the swirl. Are you allowed to show me a sample of how that might look? "From Greece, With Love" written on it? Maybe #35 as an example. I think you just need to adjust the spacing so that the swirl comes down further.

Also, can I see #9 and #35 in a gold color (with or without gradient - you choose).

Is it me or is #48 less bold than #37? I find that on the lighter colors, it's hard to see the logo.... I would rather make it more bold for the colors that are hard to see.. with that said, lets try this:

1) Can you make #9 and #35 in plain old black. Want to see what it looks like with the pure, simple professional business card format.

I know i've asked so much of you!!! I would still to see the above request, but I'd also like to see your designs #9 and #35 in the condensed format that I commented on the main discussion page.

Honestly I'm not sure how it would work on the "diveted" swirl ribbon, I'm thinking that even if you brought the word "Jewel" down just slightly it would create a more condensed look. One idea I have would be to have the small heart be continuous from the "e" in Love. Then have the top of the "J" somehow swing continuously and slightly below.

Let me kno ur thoughts.

maybe the L could be used as a stand alone mark ?

hmm dont really love the L as stand alone. I spent some time putting these in a busienss card format just so i could see how it would look. that led me to these revisions:

1) if you could also change the heart in #70 to face upwards like it does in #9. I just want to see if that looks better...

2) After you make change #1, Can I also see #70 in the blue gradient color? Also, if you could tweak the color a little bit to match the shades of the logo i added to the Briefing... It's a little too bright. and a little too "blue" at the top of the gradient.

3) I'd like to see #49 without the additional swirl at the end. Just the LoveJewel with the heart and no continous swirl after that.

4) Just for kicks can I see an "LJ" logo -emblem style? can use the two fonts (cursive and print) that are used in #49... just want to get a taste for the different way in which the logo can be used since this is my favorite so far.

Thank you.

hi - one more thing I'd liek to see....Because I'm getting overwhelming response on the black background logo. Can you make #37 just a little more bold. I find that when its small/or far away its not as easy to see....

and then if you can do #49 in the silver color against black too.

thanks so much.

hahah i know this is a real process...thanks so much for all your quick responses. i love the LJ with the heart sitting on it, except -- the L doesnt look anything like an L! lol. i just have to say, impressed with your turnaround and your design abilities. they all just look great its so hard to choose.

alright me spend some time taking a hard look atl these and coming up with a ranking.

OK HERE WE GO! I am hopin to choose soon!

1) I prefer the heart going sideways like you originally did in #70. Sorry. Can you make #80 go upwards just like in #70 so I can compare the two (black vs gradient blue).
2) Is there a way to make the Jewel in #77 just slightly less bold but still not as weak as #37? The more bold it is, the less the gradient looks less like gray/silver and more like silver/white… I liked the lightness of the word “jewel” because it wasn’t too overpowering now it just looks like too much in #77…... If you can do “medium bold” style that’d be awesome.
3) #70 in black background / solid silver-grey font (no gradient) . not too grey but not too light!

hi i took a second look - you can ignore part 2 of the request. i looked at it on a different computer and it actually looks very nice in the bold. and im sure it would be difficult to "medium" bold it anyway....

thanks -

i have a question.... if i like a few iterations of the same design? are you permitted to send me all of them? For example -
#88 and #81?

Also - could you show me an iteration of the "LJ" initial logo with the L and J disconnected? Just to show some differentiation so you can tell its an "L"? I like the heart being a part of that...very nice!

Will do -

RE: multiple designs, it's against the site rules for me to offer more than one design for the same contest prize - it's as if I were bribing you to choose my design by offering two for the price of one ... they would lock me up and throw away the key! .. or throw me off the site at least.

I am able to offer different color versions included in the price - and different background colours so i'm more than happy to do that.

If you did select one of my designs however, once the contest ends I'd be open to offers for a second design. It's not as if I am able to re-use the design for another company so the charge would be nominal.

Hope that helps,

Julian at Husk

Ok I understand. Thanks for that feedback.... We can discuss that privately after the contest.

For now, I just have one last request: Can you make #9 the same blue color as #81? As you see these are my top 3... I'm just placing them in my biz card format to see what looks best... Then perhaps will end up discussing use of all of them at some point!

thx

Great stuff - here goes ... I think I'm within the rules to offer a version with and without the tag line without any extra charge. All the best! Husk.

I am thinking #88 and #83 with the various color variations of #89, #70 and #95. Would like to pay for the others we can discuss.
