Hi all, thanks for the entries so far! Would like to see a bit more play with purple and gold.

Prefer a design without relying on a background colour, to make it more easily applied standing on its own to light or dark backgrounds without having to be set in a rectangle. Would definitely like to see more play with colours and imagery as suggested in the brief. Nice ideas so far, thanks.

Liking the use of the phoenix and light rays. Preferring a more horizontal layout. Also would like to see the phoenixes leaning a bit more toward slicker and more powerful looking, like they've just been reborn from the fire. Thanks guys, looking good. Keep it up, and Happy Easter!

Gang, stellar ideas, we're really excited! Those in the top five now, please throw in a few more if you would, playing on your concepts with a couple of different colour schemes and perhaps a few slight variations so we can see your ideas covering all the bases. The colour combinations we've ranked are the directions we'd like to head in - you might like to try silver in places if you think it would work? So gold/black, purple/gold, purple/silver and similar combinations are worth a go; see what looks best to you. Thanks again, loving your ideas.

Looks like this is drawing to a close. It's 7pm here in Australia, so the final entries will be assessed in the morning, with about two hours of the contest left.
