Hi Ino, thanks for your designs, we love them! I've just spoken to the team and we would like you to try a couple of small ideas please.
* Try the gold colour from the phoenix in #45 in the torch on #38 (no 66 looks a bit too yellow) * Please add a tail that curls around the torch down from the phoenix * Please try the gold torch as described above, next to the text in #47 in place of just the phoenix - reduce the size as needed to fit the aspect and see it if works - perhaps try it behind as well, like #45 but with the torch handle included? * Please try #38 and #47 with colours gold and purple (in either torch or text) * Please see if the torch and tail could work as the 'L' instead of the 'i', and make the tail branch out to form the bottom line of the 'L'. Just an idea we would like to try.
Overall, we are mostly leaning toward gold and black as our colours (the boss wants to try purple a bit more) and we are aiming for a variant of #38 or #47 (including inverted variants). The whole team loves them!
Ino, thank you! You're definitely our #1 designer. We've just had the last chat with our team to request some slight revisions for a couple more looks on your concepts, then we will decide on the winning one.
We love the 3D torch adjustment. It's come down to playing with #73 (which everyone likes) and #71 (which the bosses like and want to see a couple of variations of). The tricky things are the layout (more horizontal seems to be easier to apply to more uses, but #73 works better aesthetically); the tail, which we are unsure about; and the torch, we'd like to be able to use on its own sometimes as an emblem/alternative, but we realise if we ask you for #73, we might not be able to get a EPS file of the complete torch on its own?
So for some small (and hopefully last) changes at this stage, would you please:
* Bring the font size up on the word 'studios' slightly on both #73 and #71, just a point or two, as we're concerned it may get lost on embroidery or other small applications. * Could you possibly try a thinner tail on #71, something a little more flowy? At the moment a few of our guys have said it looks a bit like a stripper with her leg around a pole, and now we can't shake it, LOL! * Please show us both revised #73 and #71 on an inverted background (black / white) and also both on a royal purple background, something like hex purple4 #551A8B (R:85, G:26, B:139) * Let's throw the tail onto #73 as well in a separate image just to see if it works. (The boss's idea!)
That's about it for now. Thanks so much for your patience and work Ino, you've been absolutely fantastic. I think after this we should be able to decide the one that's going to represent us and get onto finalising the design and your prize in the next couple of days.
Thanks, that would be great. Did you manage to try a thinner tail at all? Just trying to satisfy all the bosses' requirements before we settle on one because I know they want to be 100%. Can you also point out which ones have the larger font size for 'studio' please? It looks bigger on #78 and #79, is that correct?
The tail is a little thinner in the latest versions. I will do it more if you wat. Not sure how much of a change you wanted. On #78 and #79 is the same size compared to the logo, but the logo is bigger due to the torch replacing the "I". Also it's a little optical illusion. White text also looks bigger on black than the other way around.
