Hi ! Here are some hints for getting the most out of your contest as it progresses:

~~ Rank designs daily -- this will encourage participation.
~~ Rank and re-rank a variety of designs to get a variety of new entries.
~~ Ranking gets your contest noticed! Unless your contest is private, 1st place entries are posted to the portfolio page: https://logotournament.com/portfolio
~~ Ranking designs daily will also keep your contest from getting cluttered.
~~ The more feedback you provide, the better results you are going to see.
~~ Designers are not offended by "Not Interested"
~~ Over-use of "Not Interested" discourages participation.
~~ Ranking is a non-monetary means of showing appreciation for designers hard work.
~~ Designers earn points for designs ranked in the top 10. We like to earn points.

~~ NOTE: While in JUDGING mode, the designer ranked in 1st can still submit revisions.

More detailed information on how to get the most out of your contest can be found here:

#1 is an interesting place to start. I realize that I won't really know what I like until I am able to make some comparisons, but here are my initial thoughts:

Likes:

The brainwaves,
the calming colors,
the slight abstractness of the "brain image"

Unsure about it:

As calming as the colors are, I think I would like a little more variety or vibrancy,
not sure yet about whether or not the slogan should be in the logo,
"brain" shape doesn't feel quite right - I know that's very vague, so I will ponder on it.

Thanks for the first submission! :)

Nice to see some different perspectives that get my mind going. Nothing really hits me just yet, but there are elements that help me figure out what I like. Thanks for the work.

I like the simpler, smaller lines of #3.

I don't like the graphic of #4, but I like the two tone name.

I like how #1 has the tag line in a font that can be read.

#6 is appealing, but the feel is too sharp. The look of the logo definitely needs to be softer.

I like #10; it is a nice shift from the previous similar designs. As vague as this may be, it is still a little "harder" than I would want. I think it is the combination of the lines coming off the "brain," and then the block letters as well. It helps me realize that I want things flowing a little more smoothly. That is what has led me to move #8 to the top for the moment; its line are smooth rather than sharp. Still, it seems a little generic for the clinic, since there is no direct connection to what we do.

I appreciate the work, especially the adjustments in response to my comments. Thanks.

Hi All:

I appreciate the new ideas. I see that a head, or profile, could give a good way to capture a reference to the product. I also like the way #12 captures the concept of "moving up" and "making progress" even without the brain or head reference. One or the other of these concepts, either a brain/head reference, or a "triumph/success" reference seems to be the way to go. If there is a way to do both, without being ridiculously cluttered, that would be even better! I really appreciate all of your work, and will send more individual feedback in the next couple of hours.

Hi All:

This has been a fabulous process for me, and I really appreciate all the work. One of the things that has happened during the process is that I have wavered on my focus on our (current) distinctive product of brain state training. I am seeing even more benefit in having the logo reflect achievement, life change, progress, triumph, success. Thanks again for all your work! Brad
