The LC logo in #90, which a nice design, is not what I'm looking for. Just in case you missed the note, I'm looking for a fairly minimalist icon that can also be used as a watermark on my photos. Lastly, I'd like the icon to work in very small 16x16 'favicon' format for my web site. Entry 89 comes closest to this, but as I said, it's a little too unrefined. 15 years ago craigj Logo Designer Thanks for the feedback Ron, it very much helps me hone in on what you're after. Here is a revised version for you to check out. I've refined it to look more classy plus added a touch more detail to give it some depth.... kind of draws you into it. Also, I thought light 'tan' colour goes nicely with the grey.... like 2 neutrals. Let me know your thoughts.Cheers,Craig(This comment references Entry #159) 15 years ago lenscraft Client Craig, #165 & #159 are both lovely logos, but neither 'speaks' to me. I'm getting quite a few variations on 'nested circles', and I'm finding that in general, they don't appeal to me. 15 years ago craigj Logo Designer g'day again. Another design for you.... trying to go away from the generic photographer style logos, hopefully I'll start to get more in the ballpark! Let me know if any feedback. :)(This comment references Entry #262) 15 years ago craigj Logo Designer Another out of the box idea for you..... this represents the shutter but with 3 of the panels folded out to give some symbolism of 'craft' and creative photography.Cheers!(This comment references Entry #263) 15 years ago craigj Logo Designer Another variation of previous submission..... I like the way your eye completes the shape.(This comment references Entry #265) 15 years ago lenscraft Client Craig, #258 is fantastic. I really like it and I'm moving it into the ranking. I'd love to see whether you can work in 'photography by Ron Lussier', but regardless I really like this entry. (Note that the ranking I am giving it may change... I tend to need a little time to mull on logos.) 15 years ago craigj Logo Designer Cheers for the feedback Ron. I'm stoked you like it..... it just has that something different about it. Here are some other versions as requested.(This comment references Entry #292) 15 years ago lenscraft Client Craig, just FYI, it's "Lussier" ;-) 15 years ago craigj Logo Designer Sorry Ron, I didn't cut and paste it correctly! I'll get that fixed up for you.... along with a few variations of this concept. Let me know if there's anything in particular you'd like to try.Cheers,Craig 15 years ago craigj Logo Designer A few more subtle variations for you Ron....(This comment references Entry #323) 15 years ago craigj Logo Designer This one is still just black & white but gives off a shine / flare look....(This comment references Entry #325) 15 years ago craigj Logo Designer #298 with spelling fixed.....(This comment references Entry #386) 15 years ago lenscraft Client #386 is currently very close to being my favorite. I'm wondering if you think that this could also work in a horizontal format? Would you be willing to try? I'm thinking a "[logo] lenscraft" treatment? 15 years ago craigj Logo Designer Thanks Ron, I'll be home in approx 2 hours and will upload the landscape version (with and without the Photography by Ron.... wording). I think the beauty of an abstract logo like this is it can work in all sorts of ways. ie. watermarks etc. Cheers,Craig 15 years ago craigj Logo Designer Here we go! I know i'm bias but it actually looks better than I thought in landscape..... the lenscraft visually sits snuggly in the gap in the graphic. Plus I've tried a few other variations. Let me know if you want to try anything else. Cheers,Craig(This comment references Entry #428) 15 years ago lenscraft Client I am glad you submitted some with a larger text-to-graphic ratio. Could you try #467 with the text being the same height as the graphic? I'd like to see what it looks like if the text is another 'symbol' in line. 15 years ago craigj Logo Designer Here we go Ron.... I like this version. Very subtle and understated which I think suits your style :)(This comment references Entry #474) 15 years ago lenscraft Client How about #474 with the graphic flipped horizontally? 15 years ago lenscraft Client I extended the contest for two days to give me a little more time to decide, and you (if you wish) a little more time to tweak. Feel free to submit alternatives, but I'm feeling fairly good about #466. 15 years ago craigj Logo Designer Cheers Ron, I'll have a look at it a bit later today and see if I can suggest any minor tweaks. Thanks!Craig 15 years ago craigj Logo Designer Hi Ron, here are some subtle variations for you. I'm happy with the current version but have just tried some slight adjustments. ie. a little bolder, an extra circle and a touch of colour. I was going to give you some stylized versions with shading etc but I don't think it needs it. The abstract nature alone gives it style. Plus keeping it super basic with no fine lines and shading means you could create an embossing block for leather album branding or even stationery etc. Let me know if you have any other thoughts.Cheers,Craig(This comment references Entry #536) 15 years ago
