Hi ! Here are some hints for getting the most out of your contest as it progresses:

~~ Rank designs daily -- this will encourage participation.
~~ Rank and re-rank a variety of designs to get a variety of new entries.
~~ Ranking gets your contest noticed! Unless your contest is private, 1st place entries are posted to the portfolio page: https://logotournament.com/portfolio
~~ Ranking designs daily will also keep your contest from getting cluttered.
~~ The more feedback you provide, the better results you are going to see.
~~ Designers are not offended by "Not Interested"
~~ Over-use of "Not Interested" discourages participation.
~~ Ranking is a non-monetary means of showing appreciation for designers hard work.
~~ Designers earn points for designs ranked in the top 10. We like to earn points.

~~ NOTE: While in JUDGING mode, the designer ranked in 1st can still submit revisions.

Hey guys,

Take a look at all these different crown logos at the below link. See if you can tie the idea of royalty, crowns, leaving a legacy in with dentistry (tooth,etc).

Hi everyone,

Here is a breakdown of what I like or don't like so far on the top four currently submitted.

#9 - Clean and modern in terms of layout, balance, etc. Font/type could work. Would like to see other fonts explored as well however. The symbol is clean, but feels too much like an "apple". Don't prefer the blue and green colors here. Would like to stick to earth tones. Nice start.

#8 - Like this combination of earth tone colors for sure. Also clean design. However, don't prefer the symbol being on top with this particular combo of font and symbol. Same notes as above regarding the symbol feeling like an "apple".

#7 - Like the attempt at the direction with the symbol here. As mentioned in my brief, like an attempt at family, royalty or legacy, and dentistry. All those are being tried here. Feel the symbol is too large for the type, and balance is feeling a bit off right now. Font color is perhaps too dark here. Good start.

#10 - Feel the tooth design and the crown are bit too literal here. Also, feel the colors are too bright with the blue and red. Try to stay within earth tones. The font for "Legacy" feels a bit too futuristic rather than clean and modern. Would love to see more attempts.


Just a quick reminder and some general notes.

Try your best to stick to earth tones and avoid the bright colors, etc. Also try to avoid a straight tooth design, as that is a bit cliche. Explore how a tooth-like "impression shape" could work with the shape of a crown, or royalty, or some symbol for leaving a legacy. Looking for something fairly unique and creative in the solution to bring these things together. And if you have an idea that is out of the box...submit that too. I would love to see anything you guys can come up with.

With only a coupe of days left, I would say now is the time to really bring something outside of the box and unique that no one has thought of yet.

Hey designers,

You guys are doing a fantastic job. I really appreciate all the variations you have done today.

We have one more day left and I would love to see even more outside of the box designs and really push your ideas.

Also, see what you can do color wise with going more with some of the dark red-ish brown like we see in some of the designs. A lot of the designs are more golden, and would be great to see them with the darker red-ish brown applied.

Hey guys,

Only 4 hours left on the contest here. I really love what you guys are turning in, even at the end here.

#77 has jumped up as one that is very interesting because of the sleek and angular nature of it. I know not much time is left, but would love to see some designs that are more sleek and angular...maybe to help push the "modern" feel just a bit.
