Blue, black and silver are my colors. To get an idea of the type of blue, see my website's blog at http://leavittphoto.com/blog/
I've also attached a copy of the logo in this listing.
Our Ideas & Additional Information
What makes my business unique is the amount of planning that goes into the portrait process. It's the ideas that drive what the final product is, so I'd love to see the concept of a storyboard sketch evolving into a polished, clean design.

I like my logo as it is now, I just want it to be upgraded/modernized with some implied dimensionality. It's supposed to be an "L" and a "P" with the "P" reversed. With that said, I'm still open to completely new ideas as well. (If someone can come up with a better icon to represent those two letters then I will bow to your major skills since now people read it as an "L" and a "Q" or "G".)

For me, less is more. I love bold, masculine, simple corporate logos such as Apple, internet explorer's "e" , Adobe, Target.
I LOVE playing with negative space like the WWF PANDA logo does.

I'm looking for an icon, anything that still looks great in one color, as well as a way to show it accompanied by the words "Leavitt Photo"

I'd love to see a web 2.0 version of the logo, as long as it's one that translates well into a one-color letter form mark. I'd also like to see the "Leavitt Photo" integrated with the icon... but in a way that I can eventually phase out the text and still have the icon stand alone on it's own.

If my perfect logo were a car, it wouldn't be a flashy souped up Honda, or a Lamborghini, it would be an Aston Martin V12 Vantage. The perfect mix of sporty, sleek, Luxury and class.

My favorite font is Bauhaus because I like chunky, solid, rounded yet square shapes, and I am a big fan of "Less is More"
