To all designers,

Please note that we are a group of 7 educationists, and some or all of us will be involved in choosing the eventual winner from amongst your designs. All 7 of us have the login to the contest, so please be aware that you might well be getting comments from more than one person :)

Best of luck,

John Connell

To all designers,

Now that there are almost 30 designs, and with less than 24 hours to go until the 4 initial days are up, i should say that some in the client group (7 of us in total) are not convinced by either the mortarboard or book motifs - they feel these have been overdone and lapse into cliche.

We are more keen on simply getting a memorable logo than any need to reflect the 'learning' component.

Cheers,

John

To all designers,

Please note that, because we are a group, it is actually quite difficult to rank in any meaningful way - the best we can do is try to make sure that all our individual favourites float somewhere close to the top of the ranking. However, not all 7 of us are able to do any ranking before the deadline, so please be prepared for the order to change considerably and often over the next 3 days.

To all designers,

Thank you for all your efforts - some great designs to choose from.

Once this phase is finished (shortly) i will be asking my 6 colleagues to choose their 1 or 2 favourite designs each from the many submitted, and then between us over the next couple of days we will decide on a winner from that small group of between 7 and 14 designs. Given the range of designs on offer, I don't at this stage feel that we will need to seek further amendments to any designs, but that might change once the favourites all float to the top of the list.
