I did these bars a few years ago so I am not sure of the source, but having just googled them, I have found a bar that looks just like that. Please dont remove them. I shall do it myself and pm the CH.

there must be a glitch it submitted the post four times and submitted the logo four times hence all the other withdraws.

Why did you modify your #1 logo ???

Hi Laurent, sorry about the removal of my #1 I was informed that the logo was still too close to the photo reference and that if I did not remove it I would be removed from the contest completely. I Apologise for the inconvenience I should not have done that in the first place, I do know better. As stated It was along time ago that I illustrated the logo and forgot were the source came from. I shall make the bars smaller. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to make this or another logo better.

Your logo is nice.

I think that you may reinforce your # position if you manage to translate into the logo that visitors cans buy & sell online or offline....

Pretty hard to do....we know....but the first that comes up with such a logo will definitely win the race !

Hi Here are some good options please feel free to chop and change elements if you feel they would work better. The trick is to convey the message and not loose the classy feel of the logo.

You are right. Hard to mix tha message and classy feel...

We feel you have a very good imagination thanks to #13. Unfortunately, this one woulf fit to watches, not to gold coins and bars....Maybe you'll come up with such an interesting logo in our area (gold gold gold ;)

Here is what we thing about all your new logos.
#49=>53 : arrows are far from what we want. Find something more classy, more serious, nice graphically speaking...

We don't like what you put in the letter O... But the idea is good. Why not put a french napoleon gold coin ??? Big and real !

Big arrows are better than the others....but we prefer straight ones....on don't use $ but € as this will be a french website ;)

Hope you'll find some other good ideas ! Something very original, but still serious, financial, with a clear message of gold trading.... ;)

We think bills are not realistics enough. It looks quite cheap.

you cant't remember where you copied the copyright material well here it is..took a MOD 30 seconds to find it....

Here are our comment on your very nice work :
#98 : colors between bar and coin is too different, and arrow is not that nice...
#91 & 92 : Nice job we like them. Can you write vertically and insist on the police/color so we can read it ? Text here is no readable... And also, please write it vertically ! ;)
#94 : not as nice as others

#91 & 92 are on the good way...

I presume when you say police colour you mean blue.

sorry, "police" = "font" in french, I am loosing my english lool...

Here is what we think about your logos and improvements:
#90 : probably one of the best. Our decision is not already taken. We like it but feel it could be improved.
#102 : hard to tell you what we don't like while talking about arrows. They are not what we expect. Maybe you should try things differently.
#92 : try to write vertically "ACHAT" like this :

And use a dark color so we can read it more easily.

#101 : Arrow should not be in front of pictures. And about the coin, we feel it is too different from your bars. I don't know if this would possible for you to draw such a coin by yourself, using the "print" of the coin we gave you in that logo...???

Generally speaking, arrows are supposed to translate the idea of "buy & sell" online... Thus, an arrow pointing from a bar to a coin does not mean anything for us. On our website, you can buy gol bars and coins, sell them, and of course, transform all this into €€€ !! You can now play with this ideas....

#64 : coins replacing "O" was interesting.....

Let's hope you'll find what we have difficulties to communicate ;)

Ok I have tweaked and tweaked I think it is looking much better, the corners are less round and looking more slick and like a bar of gold

We like pretty much #117. Nice coin really ! but we don't like the € that has nothing to do there. It will be much better without any €. Try one like this..

Another comment. We think that the logo should be wide and flat, large but not to high (am I understandable ?). What about putting gold bars on the left, coins replacing the "O" of "Or" and adding something like #1 with achat/vente and arrows with Gold.fr in the middle......????

I let you dream about this tonight and hope to see wonderful stuff tomorrow ;)

PLease can you erase the "E" at the end of "ComptoirE" ? French is a complicated language ;)

Although your #1 logo is nice, we are not sure it will fit in our homepage, as it is a very tall one....
