Hello! Here is the logo I came up with for your event. I took your idea of placing the main logo on the bowling ball, and then I also added "lawyer" pins. I am still finetuning another version with the full title added, but I wanted to get something posted asap for feedback. Thanks!

(Sorry if there are duplicate comments. The first time I submitted I received an internal site error, so I am not sure if I doubled up or not.)

Here is a revised entry with the full title added as well. I kept the design down to basically 3 colors (black/purple/grey) to allow for easy print & production.

#2. I like this and think the "lawyer pins" are clever. I like the color scheme. Could you make it more symetrical? Right now the angles of the pins and two banners are all diffferent angles. That could be because the ball is knocking the pins down, but it looks a little off, particularly with regard to the angle of the banners.. Also, could you try making the heads of the "Big" and "Little" on the Big Brothers Big Sisters logo 2 of the 3 holes in the bowling ball and then add a third hole in the appropriate place above them? That way you can make the logo larger yet still retain the identifying feature of the bowling ball? And I'm not sold on the font used for the "Lawyers for Littles" banner. Could you use something that's strong but more playful since we're raising money for children?

I don't know anything about graphic design. Is there a way that I can change the year or would I have to pay a designer to update the design every year?

Make sure you keep this one and submit any changes as an additional design.

Thanks!

Thank you for the detailed feedback; this helps a lot in ensuring we get the design looking how you want it. I will get some new ideas posted for you, based on your comments and suggestions.

Also, in terms of changing the year, that is something that you could easily change yourself. Or, if you are unable, I can do it very quickly and easily for you as needed.

More to come soon!

I am still working on decking out the pins in full suits, as well as adding the subtitle to this, but I wanted to get something new posted for you to look at in the meantime...

I failed to mention: I was thinking that since there are pins and a black ball, the holes are not needed (they're on the back side of the ball I suppose). This way, the logo's size can be maximized on the ball. Also, I left the subtext off for now, as it may or may not be a requirement to still have the overall design be effective.

With regard to design #3:

1.I like the "Lawyers for Littles" font better on #3 than #2, but maybe use a different, plainer font for the "for" and a font for the "Littles" that has a stronger "L" at the beginning, although I like the childlike look of that font. And I think I liked how the font curved on #2.

2. I like the bowling ball with the larger Big Brothers Big Sisters logo on #3 better than #2. I agree that it may not be necessary, but I think it would still look neat to have the ball holes placed over the top of the 2 heads on the logos and add a 3rd hole above them.

With regard to design #3 (continued):

3. I like the angle of the pins in #2 because it looks like the ball is hitting them.

4. Remove the "2011" oval from #3.

5. Add a "Bowl for Kids' Sake" ribbon to the bottom of # 3, but make it level so that it's generally parallel to the "Lawyers for Littles" language.

6. Can't wait to see the pin suits!

Once again, I have to say thanks for all of the detailed feedback. You are one of the most detailed and organized CH I've yet to work with on the site, and it makes my job much easier.

With regards to your last comments, here is another revision for your review. I will post additional variations as well, with minor alterations. I hope you find this to be an overall improvement over the previous designs.

Hello, Just a quick update for you: some people felt my bottom ribbon was too close to another I had made. So I made a new one for you! I Hope you like it. And, to avoid any trouble, I have withdrawn my others. I apologize for the inconvenience, but I will resubmit all of my major variations again but with the new ribbon. Thanks for understanding!

Again, just to clarify, #12 was the most recent design we had come up with--it includes all of the revisions you had requested and is exactly the same design as the current 1st place one.

Outside of that, there are subtle changes: the bow tie added, the height of the ball, shading on the holes, full suits versus ties only, etc.

Let me know if there is any other changes you may wish to see, and I will be happy to keep posting new ideas for your review. Thanks again for your patience as I resubmit the designs.

What happened to the designs with the feminine pin? I was going to pick that as my winner?!?!?!

I apologize but I had to recreate the banner portion. I hope you find the revision to be acceptable.

I can also submit new banners for your review if you wish!
