Our Ideas & Additional Information
I was thinking about having the Big Brothers Big Sisters logo inside a bowling ball with the silhouettes of a male and female attorney in business attire bowling the ball towards the viewer. Perhaps with the words "Lawyers for Littles" at the top and "Bowl for Kids' Sake 2011" at the bottom.

Hello! Here are some hints for getting the most out of your contest as it progresses:

~~ Rank designs daily -- this will encourage participation.
~~ Rank and re-rank a variety of designs to get a variety of new entries.
~~ Ranking gets your contest noticed! Unless your contest is Private, 1st place entries are posted to the portfolio page: https://logotournament.com/portfolio
~~ Ranking designs daily will also keep your contest from getting cluttered.
~~ The more feedback you provide, the better results you will see.
~~ Designers are not offended by "Not Interested".
~~ Over-use of "Not Interested" discourages participation.
~~ Ranking is a non-monetary means of showing appreciation for the Designers' hard work.
~~ Designers earn points for ranked designs. We like to earn points.

#2. Also, it might be too much, but could you put suits on the pins and make one male and one female. No need to add faces. Just taking the tie idea a step further.

I LOVE the pin suits!

With regard to #4, is there a way to put some purple shadowing around the finger holes on the ball to make the 3 holes show up a little better?

It might be interesting to see what the words would look like if the "for" was centered on a line between the "Lawyers" and "Littles."

Could you put a bowtie on the tuxedo pin?

These are starting to look really great. I'm very excited about how this is coming together!

And could I see one that had some sort of circular background rather than the triangular background?

#10 is great! Can you remove the lines on either side of the "for"?

And can you move the bowling ball down just a hair and move the "Bowl for Kids' Sake 2011" ribbon down just a hair so that the Big Brothers Logo, particulary the heart portion, is a little more exposed so you can tell it forms a heart shape? You might have to move the pins down a hair as well to keep it tight.

I can't tell what number it was, but my top choice looked like #12 except it had the original ribbon containing "Bowl for Kids' Sake 2011." I don't like the new ribbon. I liked the simplicity of the older one. Can you bring that design back? Also, I'm having my committee review the submissions to take a final vote tomorrow. Can you bring back all the ones you withdrew?

With regard to #11, the feedback was positive except I got some questions about that fact that both pins appear masculine. is there a way to modify the pin with the bowtie to make it look more feminine so that the logo appeals to both male and female attorneys?

Also, I requested the contest be extended so we can work on the feminine pin.

We love #22 and the changes you made. The female pin looks great. Can you lower the female pin just a hair and move the head of the male pin closer to the word "Lawyer" so that both pins are positioned the same. Once that's done we should be done!

I've requested that the contest be ended so I can pick my winner (#23) and get the files. Thanks for your patience and help!

I am glad you are pleased with the logo!

I could be wrong, but I believe you can manually end it yourself from your side--you just need to rank 3 different designers for 1st, 2nd & 3rd places. And then any other places/ranks can be given to whomever you wish.

Either way, I am sure Admin can sort this for you tomorrow if you haven't ended it by then.

Best of luck with the rest of the process!
