What We Do
Property development (i.e. buy land and build residential apartment blocks or houses on the land).
Landlord (i.e. once apartment blocks and houses are built, we hold and rent them).
We operate exclusively in larger towns and cities in England and Wales.
We operate a “build-to-rent” rather than a “build-to-sell” strategy (i.e. we develop and hold the properties for the long term; rather than building to sell them).
Color Preferences
We like the mood and feeling of greys, orange, blue, purple, and green, but open-minded as to the colour choice.
Our Ideas & Additional Information
Professional – taken seriously by banks / lenders.
Trustworthy (integrity) – we want our target tenants / renters to be our fans. To trust and to like us.
Friendly (approachable and nice) - trusted and liked by target tenants / renters.
Luxury (high-quality) – LaunchPad offers high-quality rental accommodation.
Modern and stylish – to fit with our young professional renters.
Ambitious (audacious) - to fit with our young professional renters.
Uncomplicated (hassle-free) – renting a house can be complicated.
Calm (a sense of quiet and peace) – a house or flat (even if just rented) should feel like a home.
Like the idea of a house in the style of a space shuttle or rocket launching skywards out of a city skyline / nightscape with the vapour trail containing the business name. All in a silhouetted and simple style, using a warm and inviting colour palette to reflect some of the feelings and moods noted-above.
Generally, because of our name and x2 target audiences, like the idea of a space / rocket launch theme. This feels quite inspiring and fits well with our upwardly mobile and ambitious professional tenants.
Like the simple/bold colours and cartoon-style (soft edges) used by Headspace (mindfulness) on their website. It feels very accessible.
Other “build-to-rent” property developer / competitors are Empire Property Concepts, White Box, U+I, Pocket Living, Urban Splash, Quintain, Essential Living, and Fizzy Living.
