What We Do
We work with early stage entrepreneurs to move their business forward and get them to their next round of funding. We build and maintain a valuable network of investors and provide them with excellent entrepreneurs. (investment opportunities)

Color Preferences
Probably no pink... but pretty open otherwise... we have to appeal to sophisticated investors and fast moving entrepreneurs.
Our Ideas & Additional Information
There are 5 founders... all from Oxford University... but not sure if that's worth incorporating into it or not. I wouldn't focus too much on this but it is extra information.

Discussion

Thanks to all for the submissions thus far...we're excited about the progress demonstrated by the designers. We were finally able to rank all of the submissions today and are happy with the overall direction of the contest. Hopefully our feedback has been helpful. We will continue to provide feedback on as many designs as possible as the tournament moves forward.

A quick update - rather than attempting to rank all of the submissions (exhausting work), we thought it would be more useful for the design community if we focused on a selected group. Entries are only being moved to the "not interested" bin because the ranking system makes it difficult to manage a large volume of designs. Please don't be discouraged and continue submitting ideas!!! Great work so far, thanks again!

There was an idea brought to our attention by some colleagues we showed the designs too with reference to our current number one. I don't know if it would be good or not... but it sounded interesting so I will do my best to describe it. Like the slingshot which is currently our favorite... but have the elastics drawing backwards into the background around the name so...

So it would look like the person that is reading the logo would be hit by the slingshot if it were released because it's looking right at you...

Like this sort of but around the name http://www.uncrate.com/men/images/2006/12/sling-shot.jpg

Anyways just an idea I thought I'd through out.

As we move towards the end of this competition... we are definitely leaning more towards the logos that are less gimicky and can stand the test of time as an iconic mark... we are impressed by most entries so far and we are always surprised how a new entry will shift our way of thinking... We hope to see some more choices over the next couple of days as the competition nears a close...

In general, we prefer designs that use a traditional letter "A"

Given all of the great submissions we recently received, we have decided to extend the contest to encourage additional creativity and fine tuning of the designs. We will continue to provide as much feedback as possible...thanks to everyone for the hard work so far!
