Just a bit about how JSC began to help out the designers.
This concept arose when I turned 55 and realized I could get the Senior Drink at Taco Bell for $.25. Yet when I said to the cashier that I was a Senior Citizen it just didn't ring right to me so I said "NO, I'm not a Senior Citizen, I'm a JUNIOR Senior Citizen". It was then after myself, the cashier, my husband and everyone else present started laughing that I started using the phrase for several months. I have trademarked the slogan and plan to build a business around it. I need a logo that depicts my enthusiam, quirkey character and the company. We will be moving into other products over time besides those mentioned in the bio for this logo contest. I'm really looking for a logo that is RECOGNIZABLE on it's own. That can be imprinted on clothing, hats, suspenders and many more items we are going to be retailing.

Hello! Here are some hints for getting the most out of your contest as it progresses:

~~ Rank designs daily -- this will encourage participation.
~~ Rank a variety of designs to get a variety of entries.
~~ Ranking gets your contest noticed! Unless your contest is Private, 1st place entries are posted to the portfolio page: https://logotournament.com/portfolio
~~ Leave private feedback by clicking on a design. Feedback will be made public upon contest completion.
~~ When you provide feedback to designers, you increase the chances of getting the logo you want. More feedback = better results!
~~ Designers are not offended by "Not Interested." We'd like to know what you don't want so we can give you the design you do want.
~~ Designers earn points for designs ranked 1st - 10th. We like to earn points.
~~ The first phase of the contest is the "Open" phase, and everyone can submit during that time.
~~ After your contest's initial "Open" phase closes, it will enter the "Top 5" phase; only the top 5 ranked designers will be able to submit revisions at that time.
~~ The "Top 5" designers are the first 5 designers in a contest, not the first 5 designs.
~~ When "Top 5" ends, the "Judging" phase begins. The designer of the 1st place design will be the only designer who can submit revisions at that time.

It just so happens the one designer choose to put a likeness of our characters in the logo design. We hadn't thought of it but really like the concept. However, we would want the exact characters we've created to be in the logo. We also like the background logo concept as well from this designer.
