Color Preferences
We are already using deep/brick red, navy or a shade or two darker, steel grey and a darker/lighter accent grey/silver.
Our Ideas and Additional Information:
We currently have a logo we have been using. It is the shape of a shield with four quadrants with the name of Joshua Group underneath. One quadrant is red, the diagonally opposite is navy and the other two are silver/grey. We like the shield logo as it represents our "crest" and the "shield of faith" to us. The colors to us represent the blood of Christ (red), the trustworthiness and faithfulness of Christ (Navy/Blue) and the strength of our faith (silver/steel grey of the shield). We would like to see something new but also maybe have our logo "finessed" a bit. We would also like to see a sword or something that looks like one but isn't used creatively in the logo but not for it to look too medieval. We are also open to something totally new not using the shield but still keeping the same colors.

We're sorry, but this contest is presently open to a limited pool of designers.
Genesis -- Logo #s 4 & 5 (minus the sword) are similar to what we are using now. I like the use of the name with the word "Properties" expanded under it. The font is also good. We are currently using Verdana but not stuck on that as a Font. I would like to see deeper, richer colors on the shield, including more of a metallic look in the silver/grey areas. Also, I would like to see something with some dimension to it and not so flat looking. At first glance, the shield appears to me more like it should be on the front of a car. No offense! :) Would also like to see a more creative use of the sword. We may or may not wind up incorporating that in the end -- depends on what the final logo looks like.
We're also not stuck on the use of a shield if other good design ideas are presented. Thanks for your efforts!
As reflected in our rankings we are very impressed with the shields in #45 & #41. We like the fonts used in #45, #55 and #56. Would like to see the initials J and G used in the shield, also with and without the logo, so the shield and the name can be separated and used in different marketing applications. Thanks to all for your great efforts! We are extremely impressed at the level of talent out there!
Please take a moment to review the "Ranking and General Tips" as compiled by one of our designers (Bugy) https://logotournament.com/forum/general_discussion/914. Also, consider ranking the designs rather than eliminating the points we gather are valuable even if we do not win your contest.

Designers, we appreciate all the hard work and creativity you have put into your designs. Because one of our decision makers had to go out of town at the last minute, and we received several new entries/concepts we would like to explore further, we are extending the contest for a couple more days.
