JLR GEARLogo Design Contest

I looked at a few of your other projects. You've done some nice work, but I still think you're missing what we need. This is a better logo--but font and colors still seem dated. The gear is cool--but we don't actually sell "gears" per say, so it's a little misleading. You don't have to give up on it, but it could be less literal. I like:

I really don't like yellow and green. I didn't realize it until I started seeing all of the yellow/green logos

Maybe if you guys focused on the "G", the type in general, the colors, adding a gear as a graphic element, it would work.

I'm not sure why the tournament has been put on hold. I've responded to all of the feedback very quickly and ranked entires. I'm not really that exited about the above selections--but some of them have potential.

I haven't seen any submissions that focus on the "G" in gear. Maybe it should be in a circle or shape alone.

What happened to the logo that was in 2nd place?? I liked that one!!!

Please check out the, "gear lab," section of men's health. A variation of this would work for us.
