#27 using a heavier friendlier font with upper and lower case letters.

Also, how would it look in darker and more muted shades of 22? More professional, yet still friendly. (Same families...or maybe with browns with greens. Not sure if it should be all in blue as per the brown, or a mix of 2 or 3 colors).

thanks

Hi CH,
Thanks for the feedback. Here you go, some updates according to your previous comment.
#56 using a heavier font with upper and lower case letter (do you mean Uppercase st first letter?)

Also make some variations in Star shape and colors. Hope you like it. As usual, feedback really appreciated. Thank you.

HI,
I'm not lovin' the two colors combination. It worked in the variation of one color, but not in two. Maybe if one triangle was one color and the other was another? Like #18? Or if the star was all one color, but the heart was another? Or star one color and heart 2 colors?
Just isn't there yet.

Also want the first letter of each word to be capital but lower case for the rest of the words. The "y" in family gets lost in #60. Maybe the font in #19, but much heavier

I also like #27 more than the newer star. Interesting, but i see the heart bulging out more than the star

Finally...get this.... I was told today that we may be changing our name to Jewish Family Services (because another JFS legally owns the name without the s at the end). AND it may be Jewish Family Services of Cincinnati or of Cincinnati, Ohio. If so, then the "of Cincinnati" needs to be added small under Service(s).
I'll post when i get a final word.

Hi CH, thanks for the feedback. Here you go some updates according to your previous comments.

One triangle was one color and the other was another :#63 #64 #65
The star was all one color, but the heart was another Or star one color and heart 2 colors: #66 #67 #68 #69
All the first letter of each word to be capital but lower case for the rest of the words.. also add "of Cincinnati" under the JFS.. Hope you like it.. Thank you.

i liked the star in one color ...the two looked too complicated.
Is 69 heart blue and green or all blue? Can't tell. I think I like the brown/blue combination more than the brown green. The font looks good..strong yet friendly. (Funny seeing our name with the S at the end ....everyone calls us Jewish family serviceS though it isn't our name...that is one reason to just make it official.)

Would you kill me if i asked to see 69 in other combinations? ie. purples/blue; blue/purple; blue/green; green/blue; brown/blue with blue font, etc. Just to compare.

Also, the font a little larger and closer to the design element..it feels like it is afraid to "hug".
Which do you like best?
Thank you

Hi.. Thanks for the feedback.. Really appreciated.. I wouldn't kill you if you asked me to make some combination. Here you go the updates.. All star in one color. I used light brown as in #27. Also make some variation in text color and combination in heart colors. Hope you like it.. As usual, feedback are welcome. Thank you..

Best regards,
Mimbs

Edit to add:
Yes, #69 hearts contains blue and green colors. :)

i'm sorry not to be clear. I meant to see the star in one color and the heart in another...not the heart in two shades. (79 and 70 with all blue heart) With the font either the color of the heart or the star. purple heart/blue star
I like how the font looks in the new versions..and how it lays closer to the star

I am torn between the text = the star or the heart. They both look good. I wanted to see the star in other colors to compare..or at least to rule out the question of "how would it look if"

i like 88-91 font more than 92-95. I like the thickness of 79 and 84 more, I iike the more pronounced hook of the J on 92-95. Can the 79 84 font have the extra "J hook"?
I think I am leaning to 85 with an all blue heart but maybe in the darker shade of 69.
I'm going to play with the new logo colors with the font matching the heart and star. Almost there!

beth is partial to the brown also..my husband likes the combination i made of blue/green
But we are taking off the final "s" again...keeping our name as we've been.
So..No S at the end of Services. With the "of" and without the "of"..just Cincinnati
Is 84 an all blue heart? If not, let's see it with all blue heart.
79 with all green heart with the font as it is in brown and in green
I personally like the deeper brown of 69, but could live with either
thanks!

You are a sweetheart! I like the hooked J because is stands directly over the F and S to read JFS down easily.
(Of course, the Board will probably want 103/104 with the brown font....as in 79. I can show them that.)
Will write back after I get into the office.
Thanks again

closer!
To compare, can I see 106 with the blue heart?
And the font a tiny tiny bit less thick? (so the e doesn't look like a circle and the i doesn't look like an l when reduced in size)
And the dotted "i" 's to be circle as per adoption connection instead of squares.
thank you!

one more I played with...can I see officially?
The star of #27 with the blue heart and blue font and with the blue heart and 27 with the blue heart and fpnt of 106.
Also, I'm not sure if I like the darker brown color of #69 (the color would work more for printing..i.e., using that color for the copy of a brochure).

hi,
I'm not sure why you used the all caps font. That was ruled out awhile ago.
128 The "i" dots need to be a little larger. They look too small for the font

The final is between 128 (brown star and font, blue heart) and 104 with the thinner font of 128 in the blue (i.e. 132, 131 font) (brown star, blue heart, blue font). It may make a difference next to the adoption logo if i want the font to be brown or blue as per adoption.
Thanks mimbs.
Of course I need it in b& w also.

#145 : Brown star, blue heart/font
#146 : Brown star, blue heart.. Make font with the same blue color as adoption connection
#147 : Brown star/font, blue heart (just as compare)
#148 : B/W versions

Thank you,
Mimbs

I love the larger dot on the i and the deeper ac blue..it pops better and Cincinnati is easier to read.
What I cannot tell is...is the heart the same blue as the font (so I can print in 2 colors and use metallic copper ink for brochures)? I know AC is different, but that will always be printed in 4 color anyhow.
If not, can you make the heart the same color as the font?
This will be the absolute last change!!!

thanks mimbs.. I sent the 3 variations to our exec. dir. for her input. I actually think the original blue heart and font is friendlier. I loved how the AC blue font stood out, but I'm not sure if I like it with the darker heart as much (though I wanted to do it in 2 colors).
I'll choose one or the other tomorrow.. Worked 12 hours today and ready for bed.
Thank you again.

sorry! I thought I already selected this as the winner yesterday....but never scrolled down to click the official winner button. We decided the original blue shade was friendlier with the brown.
thank you for all your help in letting us see the differences.
