It Happens in VegasLogo Design Contest

Hello! Here are some hints for getting the most out of your contest:

~~ Ranking designs daily will also keep your contest from getting cluttered.
~~ The more feedback you provide, the better results you are going to see.
~~ Designers are not offended by "Not Interested"
~~ Over-use of "Not Interested" discourages participation.
~~ Ranking is a non-monetary means of showing appreciation for designers hard work.
~~ Designers earn points for ranked designs. We like to earn points.

1st place - 50 points
2nd place - 20 points
3rd place - 10 points
4-6th place - 5 points
7-10 place - 3 points
10th on - 1 point

Entry #2: I think I may like the concept, but not completely sure if I want to go with the State of NV symbol. I think the color may be a little too dark blue.

Entry #1: I think the "Vegas" may be a bit large. Not sure if I want it to be the main vocus of the logo. I do like the use of shading though.

I am thinking that I am being drawn more towards the more elegant fonts, as with what I have ranked #1 at this time. I still like your design, but think it is missing something, possibly only being one color? It is crisp and clean, and professional, but maybe a bit masculine.

Entry #6: Really liking this one, but thinking the "It happens in" needs to be a different font, possibly something close to #7, but bolder.
Entry #5: I'm interested in this one also; really like the shading and depth. I like how it pops out.
Entries #8 & #9, don't seem to pop out enough, however, I do like the background in #9 with the city.
