Our Ideas & Additional Information
Please look at my old logo as a base example. I like my original concept: It's a BACKWARDS-serif "i", where the dot on the "i" is red. Please note the serif is on the opposite side of the "i" on purpose. The serif and red "i" are a part of my branding I would like to continue. The "i" looks like it is enclosed in a non-continuous sphere, but it also looks like it's inside parenthesis. A couple of ideas here might be to try to make that look more like code (as that's what I do) as an "i" passed as a parameter into a function, such as "( i )". Another idea is to use the "parenthesis" curves to look like sound waves amplifying out, but not too drastically. These are just a couple of ideas, but do not specifically need to happen. The branding part though is important to me, but if you think you can come up with something far superior to my branding, I may consider that as well. Also, keep in mind that the slogan is not necessary to be there unless it adds a nice flare to the logo itself. I would prefer to have a logo that can work with or without the slogan if possible. I welcome all creative ideas and will update my preferences and comment as often as I can.

thanks guys so far. i think too much 3d on the logo (too much depth) may be distracting. i do like a hint of it however in some of the examples. also, if you want to try adding rotation to the logo, maybe only make it slight, so it does not seems rotated too far away. i still think non-rotated logos are nice, but you guys have some good ideas with adding a slight rotation if it remains only slight. id also like to see some more font ideas. thanks again!

DesignLab came up with a nice idea to offset the dot on the i up in line with the circle, and to close the rest of the circle except for the opening where the dot on the i is sticking out. I like that. I also like the difference of the bold on "Pro" and non-bold "Sites". Thanks!

I like BW Design's addition with the medallion look. The highlights pull a nice 3d view out of the logo. I think the cuts in between them could be made a little differently. From here it appears to be an erased gap in the medallion instead of an intentional cut off section. I like ulahts font selection the best so far. After seeing examples, I think the slogan would be best added to it. I still think DesignLab has a great start with his idea and could be expanded on to come up with a great second stage. Ulahts's design is simple and elegant. I would like to see it with a few variations, like adding the gloss on it that BW Design did to their logo. It would also be good to try a very dark gray instead of black, as those are my colors, gray and red.

By the way people, I am extending the competition by a week and adding $100 to the prize. LogoTournament told me this should be active by Monday. I've already paid, just waiting on them to process the prize upgrade. So for all you newcomers to the contest, if it's not already Monday, calculate another $100 to the prize ($325 + $100 = $425)!

Dear @arion279,

You can leave individual feedback on every designer's page, here on the general comments area you may want to post comments regarding the overall flow of your contests.

Hi guys, Thanks for the additional designs. I do think the font in #13 (1st place) and #25 (3rd place) fits my needs the best, and unless there are other great font ideas out there, I am pretty sold on that font, or perhaps the font in #40 (4th place) . I'd also like to see more logos in styles varying from the first 3 logos. I believe these best suit represent the needs of my business, although most entries have been fantastic. Thanks!
