Your design is a very close 2nd place for me. I believe a few samples would be helpful to pull you into the lead. Here are my ideas:
1. Where the arc meets the "i", curve the arc edge around the dot of the "i" so it looks naturally cut off there.
2. Give a bit more space between the logo and the company name.
3. See if you are able to do a couple of revisions to the "i", perhaps some with different serif shapes instead of just a flat block look. Idea #61 from "bw design" did something unique that im kind of referring to, but of course, dont straight copy another artist's work, but this is just to give you something to contrast against your "i", which is more block-form.
