Dear CH, giving feedback will only benefit you. We are ready to follow your directions, but sometimes we need a little more than the brief to understand what are you asking for. Please give us the chance to make the logo you need by giving comments to the designers, what do you like, what you dont like, maybe we can have a clue of what you want by watching your rank. Rank is very important to us because we can see more clearly what to do and what not to do.

Hi All,

I'm helping out the CH with this contest. Please read through the brief as well as the following points. The CH has a very good idea of what they are looking for.

1) the Logo will be in a rectangular box

2) The medical symbol will be in a circle on the left side of the box, the medical symbol should be similar in design to the symbol used on the cover of our product.

A copy of our product can be found attached. We have the rights to this symbol:

3) The word integrative will be on the first line, and be larger so that the second line health Hypnosis aligns with the first word. I would like the difference in size between the two to be not that significant

4) We would like to try a compatible font with the font used on the title of the cd

5) We would like to use the same colors as our product cover: Dark blue, white, gold, medium blue

6) We would like to see several variations of a SAME design

A)white in the rectangle, circle gold, medical symbol and letters dark blue

b)dark blue rectangle, letters white, circle gold, symbol dark blue

c) dark blue rectangle, gold letters and symbol, light/medium blue in circle

d) dark blue rectangle, gold letters, symbol is blue is circle is white,

the logo will need to be clear at about 150-200 dpi.

Are Web 2.0 effects necessary for overall comparison?

#46 we like this font, while the half mirror image is cool, I think we would like to see it without
#29 we like the larger medical ball & symbol; this is also our favorite rendering of the medical symbol
#22 like the gold surrounding the ball and gold symbol

we would like to see all of the best of these three design elements in a single design. In addition, we would like to see letters all in gold and a version all in white

If its possible to make the ball and symbol even a little larger while still holding balance, we would like that as well

Preferred color schemes:
b)dark blue rectangle, letters white, circle dk blue with gold frame, symbol gold
b)dark blue rectangle, letters gold, circle dk blue with gold frame, symbol gold

#117 JR we really like the symbol and ball design. Could we see with integrative letters a bit larger so there isnt quite so much space between them?

We would also reallylike to see a font a little more like #100, but it needs to be thicker/bolded so it will show better, and would like to see this both in white/gold gradient you used and all gold for the letters.

These are really great designs and we appreciate your gifts!

we really really like this design. Could we see it with the ball and medical symbol larger, and the text a bit smaller? We would also like to see the color and highlights inside the ball a more medium blue, close to #117?

we would also like to see the text in all caps, and have the line separating the top and bottom text not go all the way accross

we'd also like to see this design with the text in white

like the larger ball and new spacing on the letters. the glow at top of the medical symbol was interesting idea, but we prefer it without. please change back. Would also still like to see with a differnet font, closer to #132 but thicker so it will show better. would also like to see a gold lettering version

#152 really like the new medical symbol, I have still wanted to see the ball and symbol bigger relative to the text, more like142. I like the symbol better without the white at the top,

#157 the logo only would be better with a narrower border. Would like the logo to not show the snakes head so clearly

How to Rank and Thank Designers: When it comes time for final rankings, designers appreciate when you choose the top three CONCEPTS (as opposed to variations of the same design) for the gold, silver and bronze awards. If you want to rank two different concepts by the same designer in the top three, that's fine.
Also, rank as many entries as possible, because designers get points added to their overall site standing for each blue ribbon they get.

This is how points are distributed:

1st place - 50 points
2nd place - 20 points
3rd place - 10 points
4-6th place - 5 points
7-10 place - 3 points
<10 place - 1 point

After that, each ranked entry gets one point for the designer. Nobody will be insulted by being ranked last, the points are still good! So if you pull some entries out of the "Not Interested" group and give them a rank, the designer gets some benefit from entering your contest.

Hope that's helpful, lots of contest holders don't realize this and most are glad to know. It's a good way to thank designers who don't win the contest prize, but who worked very hard to offer you lots of options to choose from for a great logo. (original post by SpeedLogo - LT moderator)
