The strong blue and abstract shape look great. The abstract shape replacing the "i" might impair readability a little, and that green with that blue gives a little bit of a sense of a "green energy" or "environmentally-focused" organization, don't you think?
The slogan doesn't need to be in the logo. That was just provided to give a little better idea of the focus of the institute. The logo should only contain the words "Innovation Management Institute."
As a top designer, are there any all-capitals fonts that you think would work for "Innovation"? There have been a lot of designs entered with all lower-case letters. We're actually partial to the way "Innovation" looks in all-caps, like in #6 (ranked 2nd right now only because of the small size of "Management Institute" and gradient around the "o" that impact readability at small size and ease of conversion to b&w).
I definitely like your use of color, abstract design, and perfect balance of positive and negative space. Thanks again for your entries. If you're interested, we'd love to see additional design proposals.
