I get the issue with the letterpress, so don't worry too much with it. We'll cross that bridge later if needed at all.
I really like #300 - can you try with prints as a sans serif just to differentiate the words? We're looking for a nice sans serif to do a lot of our writing in (marketing materials, etc.) and would love it to match up if at all possible. Possibly a Helvetica? Suggestions are always welcomed as well.
And, for grins can we see 284 with a sans serif "prints" as well?
After looking at 300, we'd love to see that with the "d" in indigo treated the same way you did the "g". Using the d from 284 or similar
I know we've given you a lot of comments to take in, so here's a list: 1 - #300, add in a "d" like the one from 284 2 - #300, add in a "d" like the one from 284, change "prints" to a sans serif 3 - #300 with no changes except "prints" in sans serif 4 - #284 with "prints" in sans serif
Thank you so much for all your work! We love your designs.
If you're still work, then just disregard this comment:
Would like to see 362 using the "nd" from 367. Or similar the way you modified the g. Essentially, want to keep the vowels of the word indigo in the serif and the others in the script.
And this "2 - #300, add in a "d" like the one from 284, change "prints" to a sans serif". I'm available online for any other requests. In the meantime I'll be looking for other nice sans serif fonts. Thanks!
and this is "362 using the "nd" from 367". I'm going to try to blend all the letters together, but I get your idea.
Also, between #362 and #368 the difference is very subtle on the tips, barely visible at this resolution. One is "squarer" the other one is slightly angled. The "p" is a bit rounder on one as well.
After staring at these for a while, I think I prefer the serif "n" as opposed to the curvy one. 425. Maybe you could mix the two to create a hybrid letter?
This is a complete rework on the "nd" blending the serif n to the script d, with a rework on the d to blend with the dot on the "i", a new idea. Thanks
433 - Thanks for the new idea on it. This is really nice - might be a little more than we want but I'll have to get some other feedback on it. I think we like the "d" best when it doesn't connect all the way, like in 432. Let's just stick with the regular serif n also. It's a little too squished into the d.
I really really like the font of "prints". Is there an ever so slightly thinner version of it? I'd like it to be a little more differentiated from indigo.
Here they are, slightly thinner. If you're looking for an even thinner font, I'm limited by this font type. Otherwise I might look into a very similar Helvetica, which I have with various weights. Thanks!
Here's another quick combination of #451 with a modified "g" from the DualisLite font. Not trying to contribute with the confusion, just want to give you more choice =)
The white on blue is better seen on this bigger image http://www.zdi.it/indigo/white_on_blue.png But at this point it's better if you PM me a list of .ai files that you'd like, in the meantime I'll send the obligatory files through logotournament.
