Thank you for the great designs. We feel that these logos are all a bit too masculine. The arrows especially add a technical or "hard" feel to them. We like the idea of possibly "movement" in the logo, which they do add, but maybe find a softer method.
I still think these logos are missing the sense of creativity and fun we're looking to convey. The arrows are making us think of traffic signs for some reason, so maybe find a way to keep the "movement" about the logo without the arrows? We're hoping to keep it a straightforward logo without much extraneous or complicated design, which you're doing, but it's just in a different "vein." Hope that makes sense.
Is there a reason why the others are not ranked.. I am not asking for you to rank them just curious as to why.. I am fairly new to logotournament.com and I was just wondering on how I can be better for CH's like yourself. Thanks again for the great feedback! =)
I like this new route! I'd love to see some more iterations of this one. Really like the font for Indigo, and I like the idea of the curls dotting the i's. The curls are maybe a little too much, but i do like how the d is connected to the "i" in that way. The font for prints is a bit off, but I also have a personal dislike for that particular font. Can you try another bright color like lime or yellow that isn't so girly? I know we want to be more feminine, but I actually think we want to stay away from pink.
Not crazy about the new font for prints. Need something much more simple since we want Indigo to stand out the most. Liked the fact that indigo was lowercase, but just thought the swirls were too swirly. Maybe there's another way to incorporate a unique "dot" to the letters without being so intricate? Thanks so much for your great work.
Can you try doing #99 and using the purple color of #48? Maybe just making the little droplet back to a regular dot? We want the colors to be punched up for sure.
I apologize about not seeing your earlier question about ranking. This is the first time for us to use LT as well, so I'm not really familiar with what I should and shouldn't rank. I will look into that more and find out.
Thank you for being so flexible with your designs. Here is why we like your design - the treatment of the dots over the letters makes it standout as something different. However, some think they look like vines or a fairy tale (Jack & the Beanstalk).
Is there something else you can do that will keep the letters from looking ordinary but isn't quite so curly? Maybe just some sort of swashes instead of a full swirl? Maybe a little treatment to the "g"? We're hoping someone can deliver an interesting (but not overly designed) "g". We feel #77 is a little too much on the "g" but have ranked it high to show that we want something different for that letter.
This is just a very random thought, but what about mixing in an upper case letter or two - the "r" in prints? This may not work at all, so take that as just a thought.
This is taking away from it being an "elevated" brand and makes it feel a little less expensive. We want to keep it feeling nice and borderline luxurious.
Like the "g" in your new design. Try using that in design 120 (essentially keep the other wording regular) Like using the different colored dots over the i's, the way you did in prints. Just like the font you used originally in 120. We want a distinct looking serif font.
Can you remove the space between the words in 196? And then also do a version with the space removed between the words and the i and n not connected in indigo - just written regularly.
Thank you for this black version. It really helps. I'm not sure if we like the new addition to the "g". However, the black version helps me see that we might need a little more difference in weight between the words. Can you thin "prints" out a little bit? I think the thickness of indigo is good.
This is looking so nice! Thank you a million for doing the logo in black. We aren't always going to be able to use it in color so we need to make sure it looks great both ways.
Can you try dropping the word prints down so that it sits right in the corner of the g&o in indigo? Sort of stacked? We don't want it to overlap at all, just sort of hug each other to see how that looks. We're trying to get indigo to stand out more than prints, so exploring ways that can happen.
For 216 - can you make prints smaller so that the bottom of the "p" lines up with the bottom of the "g"?
There is still something about the "g" that is a little overpowering. Not sure what it is and can't put my finger on what to change, but I think we'd like to see maybe some other versions of what can be done with the "g". Maybe as simple as making the end of the curl a little smaller, removing, etc.
