Hi! Here are some hints for getting the most out of your contest as it progresses:

~~ Rank designs daily -- this will encourage participation.
~~ Rank and re-rank a variety of designs to get a variety of new entries.
~~ Ranking gets your contest noticed! Unless your contest is private, 1st place entries are posted to the portfolio page: https://logotournament.com/portfolio
~~ Ranking designs daily will also keep your contest from getting cluttered.
~~ The more feedback you provide, the better results you are going to see.
~~ Designers are not offended by "Not Interested"
~~ Over-use of "Not Interested" discourages participation.
~~ Ranking is a non-monetary means of showing appreciation for designers hard work.
~~ Designers earn points for designs ranked in the top 10. We like to earn points.

~~ NOTE: While in JUDGING mode, the designer ranked in 1st can still submit revisions.

Thank you to everyone-your ideas are very creative! I originally thought of an image with a horse but I loved Entry # 1 by Satto and am open to ideas. If a horse image is used it needs to be something that represents the power and beauty of a Friesian so the image really needs to be close to that breed of a horse. I love the color and also the metallic so far-I would also like to see something in sapphire blue as well. Thank you! Great submissions so far.

After reviewing several designs I am already impressed. I realize the image of a horse does not need to be included with the logo since the horse is essentially the model for our products. One of the sample images provided showed a horse playing with a comb and brush like instruments-(yes it was clip art :) and not refined) but I liked the concept because it was playful. Again, thank you for your submissions.

Thank you for your creative designs. I love the colors and contrast in color used by Lotus Creative in all entries ranked #2 and I like the simplicity of Satto's design ranked #1. The name Horse Jazz needs a font that stands alone as well as with the logo. If a horse image is used the mane really needs to stand out. The name Horse Jazz is really slang for all the jazz people use on their horses so it is less "musical". I would prefer the "instruments" to be in the shape of grooming products like the sample provided with the horse that looks like he is playing percussion instruments. I will not be able to view designs until Friday evening so thank you in advance for all your entries and creativity.

We are between a simple logo in entry one-(despite the bad luck aspect so that will need to be altered)and entry ranked #2 . And entry ranked # 3 is very creative as well but would like to see a different font..Since the Friesian will be photographed on our advertising we need to use something that compliments that image. We are open to your creative ideas and suggestions we just provided you some ideas so please feel free to expand on them or come up with something entirely different. The horse we will be using as the model for Horse Jazz is the only thing that cannot be changed and a picture of the horse that will be photographed is on the sample provided. Thank you for all your entries. I just noticed a print for J'adore by Dior that was very nice. I liked the idea of the lettering being raised instead of straight across it is a simple font but unique.

Again, thank you for all of your entries. Lotus Creative, I have continued to like the elegance of your design and the use of color. I also like that I can use the entire logo or just the horse image or the name Horse Jazz. Satto, the simplicity of your logo has stood out from the beginning and is memorable. Baiskee, the drawing of your horse is very good and I also like the use of color and light. Actually, each of the entries ranked in the top 3 could easily be the logo for Horse Jazz. We are taking a vote on the images. As for the entries that are in the first three I do not see any changes to make we just need to decide which one is right for the Horse Jazz Logo. I have commented individually with my suggestions for most of the entries. Your hard work and talent is greatly appreciated!
