I love Entry #1 I would like to see both the Horse and Jazz in bold for a comparison and perhaps a diamond shimmer somewhere on the shoes or in the lettering. Great Entry!
Hi, Thanks for your nice comments, here are #22 and #23 ... No diamond shimmer here (i'm not a big fan ;) but i'll work on it soon. Good day, sun shine, Satto.
Hello Satto, I really like the clean lines. I am not sure if it is called a diamond shimmer, but that starlight look or bling that you see occasionally. Just one to see what it looks like. Thank you!
#27 and #28 : sparkling versions ps1: note that the horseshoe "H", even alone, is a very unique and recognizable shape and could work perfectly in black and white. ps2: i'm sorry for my very bad english. Cheers!
Hello Horse Jazz, I must admit that the shimmer work fine, thanks! I love the purple but here are some color variations: #67 #68 : greyish blue #69 #70 : golden chestnut brown Satto.
Hello Satto, I agree I like the shimmer on your designs. I love the simplicity of your design. I am really torn between the simplicity of yours and the creativity of entry 61. My biggest concern is that the horse shoe is used in so many logos so that could be a disadvantage. I still would like to see more entries with the idea of the brushes and long mane for the horse. Thank you for your designs.
As you said "luxury boutique cosmetic, fragrance or fashion line"... In my humble opinion: - i think it's better to work on a very simple and luxury symbol like Chanel or Louis Vuitton, - "Horse" is in the name, so... no need to design a redundance, - I bet you don't sell only brushes but many different products for stable lads, so it may be confusing to use only a brush in your logo... and brushes are not the height of luxury definition, - Efficiency is always simple, one strong icon is better than many mixed items... it's more remorable and easy to use even in very small printing, - For a test, i can replace the horseshoes making an "H" with stirrups if you want... Just tell me! I hope you'll understand my very poor english, i'll try to work more to convince you, Thanks, Satto.
Hello Satto, All very good points and I will take them into consideration. One of the comments mentioned that the horse shoe upside down is bad luck-I googled it and asked several equestrian people and they all agreed so yes please try the H with the stirrups. Normally, I would agree with the simplicity and elegance of a luxury symbol but the horse in itself is a beautiful symbol and sometimes a sleek image such as the one in Ferrari or Jaguar are memorable and luxurious. People who are crazy about horses tend to buy things that have a horse on them which is why I am torn between a very simple design and a more complex design. Thank you for your suggestions and creativity!
Hello, Thanks for your comments! I'll try to improve my logo very soon... I did ride pony and horses when a i was a teenager in France (i competed for the french championship)... I've never hear that legend about bad luck... i believe it's like the number "13" that brings luck in some countries and is an unlucky sign in some others... (these horse shoes are making an "H" before anything else!) Best, Satto.
Hello Satto, That is wonderful about competing in the French Championships! I actually have heard of that legend, I do not really believe in that but if other people do I can see that as a problem in marketing a product. I really like the new design and am between the gold and the silver. The idea of the stirrups is great but I prefer the horse shoe it stands out more. I also like that the shoe is an H. I am still torn between the simplicity of your design and including an image of the horse. Thank you!
