Our Ideas & Additional Information
Current temporary logo:

One idea I had would incorporate the main apocalypse we'd "hope" for - Zombies - and then in some other way incorporate thumbnails of other types of apocalypse events - tidal wave, nuclear winter (mushroom cloud), robotic uprising, grey goo, earthquake, super volcanoes, alien invasion, planet of the apes, demonic uprising, viral outbreak (biohazard), mutants, famine, etc... I'm not married to the idea, but wondered if it could cleanly be pulled off.

Styles and logos I like:

Just type in the word 'apocalyptic' in google images.

Style keywords: Decay, Derelict, War Torn, Ravaged, Rough, Gritty, Raw, Destruction, Apocalyptic

Ideally, we'd be able to use the logo as a stencil - black/white.

Thank you so much for all the great submissions, guys. Just wanted to let everyone know, I've not been able to participate in intensive review with you as I picked a terrible weekend to start the contest, given my current schedule. I guess I was a little too eager to start working with you all.

I've asked the LT admins to extend the open phase, so I can give appropriate consideration and thought to the strong submissions I've been receiving. Thanks again for the participation and look forward to giving everyone comments shortly.

These submissions are great! Just wanted to apologize again for not being as active as I should have been. I'll be heavily involved from this morning and am providing feedback now. Couple things to note for some guidelines I'd like to adhere to...

1. I'd like to stick close to some form of apocalyptic font - something gritty, closer to spray paint on a wall, old military print or a chipped and faded road sign (or anything in between).
2. Any character should be less cartoon, a little more realistic stencil. Unfortunately we won't be able to use adorable cartoon characters until we make our zombie baby books... next contest. :D

Thanks again,
-Rory

Hi All, the client requested an extension. He did not notice that we were going into the weekend and that it would eat up much of his contest.
