Our logo is purple and white so keeping consistent will be good since they will often be used together. That said, I'm relying on your creativity to come up with something that will draw attention. Let me konw if you have any questions.
Our Ideas & Additional Information
I provided the logo for my company Home Instead Senior Care. This company is going to have a program called "The Senior Heroes Project". I'm looking for a logo for the program to help us market it in way that the program will become recognizable over time and tie it to our company. Below is a first draft description of the program.... Hope this helps.

The Senior Heroes Project

The senior Heroes Project is being created as a vehicle for Home Instead Senior Care (serving the Greater Baton Rouge area) to give back to the local senior community. We discovered the gap in care for those in the local community who are less fortunate and in challenging situations. The idea is to utilize local senior care and healthcare professionals as gatekeepers to identify seniors in dire situations and to solve those situations with grants underwritten by Home Instead Senior Care.

Using the Senior Heroes Project, we envision these grants will be used to fund a variety of needs: medication, groceries, adaptive equipment, shoes, clothing, special glasses, hearing aids, mobility equipment, as well as paying for a variety of different types of care both in the home and in facilities. A maximum amount will be set for each grant recipient to allow the funds to be spread out to as many people as possible.

It is our goal to appropriately help as many seniors as we can. For this reason, a maximum contribution amount will be set for each grant recipient. The program is only available to seniors in the Greater Baton Rouge area.

If you are a healthcare professional and have a client or a patient who could benefit from this program please contact me directly. We look forward to exploring ways we can make a difference in Seniors’ lives, together.

to maintain consistency, would you want to use the same font combination? if so, could you provide the font names (if you have them), just so there is no confusion in the creation of the logo?

Sorry, the color for the purple is:
PMS 511

Hex#5E2750

The default fonts under the style guide from our franchise is:
Printed Communications | Body Copy: GillSans
Printed Communications | Decorative: VistaSansAlt
Printed Communications | Body Copy Alternative: Dante
Tagline | Sweepy
GillSans, VistaSansAlt, Dante and Sweepy are the approved fonts for printed communications.

I'm kind of envisioning an icon of a man hoisting the world above him or with his arms raised in triumph?. The program allows health care professionals funding to provide Heroic solutions to challenges for senior's in need. Play with that idea a bit. The logo should be clean and simple if you can incorporate the tag line " to us its personal" that is a bonus. Keep colors or at least tones consistent- think of heroic, like a champion or a mountain climber carrying someone or whatever comes to mind Thx!

Oh Also incorporate " the title The Senior Heroes Project" I'm not sure we need the same exact fonts as in the logo but they will need to have a similar complimentary style.

Nice effort , im not sure how i feel about using the font that way but perhaps a combination of the font and a separate icon to demonstrate the care and hero aspect. Maybe wrap the text around it or radius the text above and below? we need the feeling of a heroic icon? Thx

Were getting much closer! I like how #19 ties the plum bar and font into our current logo. Play with that a bit I also like the idea of two people icons helping each other or working together. Play with these themes a bit, Thanks!

I really like the use of the bold bar with Senior Hero written in it like #27. This one also has excellent size and shape for use in many ways. Using the tulip gets a little too close to our existing logo. The use of the dove above is very nice as it portrays the compassion we are looking for. Perhaps there is a way to blend the size and text look in #27 with the use of a the bird or some other heroic figure.

#27 had a great look if we decide to go with a logo that resembles our existing logo for Home Instead. I would still like to see other options that inorporate the use of a heroic figure or something that puts off the perception of heroism....
