Joop, you're headed in the right direction with this one, but the idea to have the same guy going from skinny to muscular. So the height should be the same for both, but they should have different builds. Thanks.

I revised the "skinny guy"... smaller arms and smaller back. Color option too.

Hi Joop,
I love the logo so far. Great work. I want to see the left guy skinnier. I want him to look skinny and weak.

Thanks,

As you requested... skinny guy even skinnier... ( good call ) Looks better this way. Do you have a preference which color?

Hi Joop,
I'd like to see a version of the logo that isn't boxed it. We will have different versions of the logo. One that isn't boxed in, without the slogan, is one I'd like to see.

Thanks,

Gordon of Hero Status

Hey Joop,
We're definitely making progress. I'd like to go a little further with our idea behind the logo. Two guys, one strong and confident, the other skinny and depressed. So the skinny guy shouldn't have the same posture with his arms crossed. Have him slouched with his head down, looking sad, and arms to the side. The big guy is good, the skinny guy just needs to look more like a frail, depressed guy who wants to get bigger.

Thanks,

Great. Just remove the line where it looks like he has a gut.

hahaha! You don't want him to have a gut? I was debating that... stay tuned.

Hi Joop,
We have a few alterations for you.
Starting with #13, let's have the skinny guy even skinnier.
We want to emphasiize that he is a hardgainer, and has a very hard time putting on muscle. But he will have some muscle. Make him have small muscles (biceps, neck) Let's also show his ribcage a little.

We also want to bring his stomach in a little more.

(We went back to #13 because we feel it looks better that both guys have their arms folded. They are infact the same guy, just with much more muscle later. The main vibe of #16 is depression and lack of confidence, instead of small muscles and low weight like we want it to be.

Anxious for the next revision! You are really impressing us :-) I can see us doing business in the future because we will need banners and logos for our website :)

That last comment was made by me, Alan, just so you know. Gordon and I have consulted on this. Thanks again.

Okay the skinny guy is now a hardgainer. I added some ribcage definition, not sure if that's the look you wanted. I did add a line to show the lats on the big guy to compliment the ribs on the hardgainer. I also made the neck on the small guy a little thicker along with the arm definition like you requested.

Hey Joop,
I want to email you an copy of the logo with my sketches on it. That way you will be able to understand more clearly what we need in the final revision.

I would like to send it to you by 4pm eastern time, 3 hours from now.

What is the email address I should send it to?

Thanks,

I just noticed I should have fixed the back on the big guy... this one is less "hunched"

Joop,
Looks good!

Let's make the big guy's outline be one color, the color of his back should be his outline color, not mixed.

Also, the big guy's shoulder is bigger than his bicep. Let's make the should line half the length, and add a big bicep. The picture at this link is a great reference point: http://www.swilers.com/Portals/0/bicep.gif

Since the old version had the big guy showing more of his back, his bicep wouldn't be visible. Now that he is a strict side profile, the bicep would be seen... good catch. I personally would like to see some definition on his rear dealt... but maybe that's because I'm trying to define that on my own shoulders in the gym!

Hey Joop,
Let's remove those 2 small bumps on the big guy's arm. Then close it up (no gaps).

(With the arms folded, you wouldn't see those 2 bumps like that, or the top of the bicep like in that photo.)

Lol, I feel you on defining yourself through the pic. Happy lifting :)
