Henderson Implement & MarineLogo Design Contest

Thanks for the entries so far.
We'd really like to see something that portrays Southwest Louisiana and our Cajun flair.
Maybe a character like a crawfish.

I like #2 but would like to see some variarions on color and font.
I like #3, but not the colors.
I don't like the ones with reflections.
I like #7, but not the emblem - it looks too fishy.

So far I haven’t seen anything that really “grabs” me—they are too generic and don’t really reflect our industry or culture. We'd like to see somethign that reflects Southwest Louisiana and our local roots.
We'd like a character that can be used with the logo or without to represent our company - like the Michelin man or the Geico lizard.
#18 - not sure what that is inside the life preserver?
#2 can you present some different fonts or ideas on the theme - for sure take off the reflection?

#18 - move the logo to the left of our name, change the center to something related to lawn care (small tractor - Kioti or Kubota type), make the Henderson solid instead of gray fade.
#20 - can you do a character (crawfish or alligator) instead of the Fleur de Lis?
#5 - can we see the wave design in blues like waves in the ocean?
#19 - really like this! can we see other color schemes - maybe dark blues?

#30 can you do this with the colors from #29 and not have the gradient in the name?
#29 can you change the emblem so that the H is not so offset and have the gradient removed?
There is a group ranking these, so if the comments don't always refer to the top ranking or the ranking seems "off" compared to the requests we're making it's because there's not a general concensus on the one design we want yet.

Clickin on the design is a better idea to leave more personal feedback as designers can sometimes get confused with feedback being left here.

yes because with so many contests most of us and me too, we check our mailbox for new CH comments, i guess a variation of the website code can make it possible to receive an email even when a CH comment your design from here too..

The ranking will be completed this weekend and a decision will be made by Monday.
