I hope you find this logo fitting for your company. I kept the illustration loose to give it a sense of realism but at the same time keeping it a friendly cartoon. Helpful Henry is suited in overalls, a ball cap, pencil behind the ear, gloves and a tool belt to help assist you with all your needful projects. I also kept the font blocky and easily legible from a long viewing distance when you go to screen print those road signs and other printed materials. I left plenty of room under HELPFULHENRY.COM for other descriptions and contact information for your company. Your feedback is most appreciated.
Shane, I am very impressed with your first versions of Helpful Henry. #13 is more like I had envisioned when I thought it up in my mind. Can you try a couple of things for me?
1. Can you put an H on the chest of the overalls OR on the cap? 2. Also, I prefer the white background, like #13 & #14, but can you try the log with the colors green, black & white?
Thanks for the direction. I was thinking about putting a H on his cap. I'll make the adjustments with your choice of colors and post shortly. Talk more later.
Here are some adjustments as requested. The green theme looks nice. I placed a H on both the cap and overalls. I also gave his face more of a personal look to it with realistic features. I would most certainly let this guy into my house and based on his professional appearance invite him back. Your feedback is appreciated.
Shane, those adjustments are great! I would like to see his boots & tool belt be the brown color instead of the gray, and I would also like to see the "Helping Homeowners Everyday" in a different font or two.
Here is a link to a website that demonstrates thousands of fonts. You can type in a word or sentence to see how that font looks with your text. This may help you narrow down some font choices. This will work for "Helping Homeowners Everyday".
If you like this orientation with Helpful Henry behind the circle I can always go back and add more detail and shadowing to his face and body. I can try out some different tools in the hand as well. Your feedback is most appreciated.
#28 - Helpful Henry holding a hammer. I also added more shadowing detail in the face and clothing. I added a brown wood siding wall in the back ground for character. Your thoughts are appreciated.
#27 Try this one with gray gloves, brown belt & pouch & shoes. Also, just for kicks & giggles, can you try a straight fat block style lettering for the HelpfulHenry.com instead of the Flintstone style block letters. I don't know for sure if I will like it better or not, but I would like to see it if possible.
Also, is it possible to make him wave with one arm, like he is saying "hello, I'm Helpful Henry".
That would make sense. I am not sure why I didn't color the pouch brown to match the belt. I gotta start getting more sleep. =) I will post shortly with all the requests. Thanks.
#30, #31, #32, #33, #34, #35, #36 - Played around with some different fonts. If I can voice my opinion, I am leaning more towards #33 or #30. They have a really clean balanced look.
Right now #29 & #40 are our two favorites. I think you do very good work. We are just waiting to see what other designs may appear in the next two days.
One request. Can you take #29 and make the HelpfulHenry.com part of it the same color green as #16 (sort of brighter) and make the .com part black outlined in white & green. Leave everything else the same. Thanks.
Meanwhile, here is a link to a font website where you can view thousands of fonts. You can even sample the font with the text that you enter. If you come across something that you like just send me the complete name of the font and I can work it into your logo design.
Can you take #45 and use the HelpfulHenry.com part of #42 at the bottom? I like the cap on Henry in #45 but I like the bottom part of #42 better. Plus, the top part of #42 if you could make it slightly darker and use it in the new logo.
Also, my partner would like to know if we end the contest early and declare you the winner, would you be willing to throw in #47 for use as a favicon? If so, we would end it early once you give us the revised design. Let us know.
I was planning in the beginning to give you all the concepts and layouts that you would need. I can email anything you like in this portfolio plus I am always available to make any adjustments and changes down the line. Did you like the green and black border in #53? Thanks.
My partner is checking the changes in #54 and he will let me know shortly.
I like the changes, but my partner is the IT guy who will be creating the site and using the logo in different places maketing the company. I also like #48 , #47 and #40, but I would like to see some changes in #40. If you could change the "Helping Homeowners Everyday" slogan to the same font and darkness as #54, and make the .com part black just like the .com part of #54.
Not a problem. The website will only allow one logo to be chosen as the winner and then I upload the original artwork as a .eps file to the website along with a large jpg of that image for approval. If you and your partner are happy with #54 confirm it as the winner and I can email you the remaining designs with the changes as requested. Thank you very much for working with me through out this process. I believe that you have a recognizable logo that I hope will bring you lots of business. Look forward to your response.
I was thinking it would be nice to have a T-Shirt and Mug with this logo on it. If and when you get something printed up will you mail them to me to use in my portfolio? That would be awesome!
Your work is very, very good! I will end the contest as soon as my partner says #54 is ok. I will send the other designs we like to your personal email. We like the circle for a favicon, and other designs for t-shirts. I will let you know. Great job!
