Thanks for the invite. Here's the first thing that came to me about your logo...(This comment references Entry #31) 15 years ago bthomasdesign Client re: #31 would lke to see the state 2x larger and also to have the second line of text be as wide as the first and have a larger font to read it easier. Last, the paw shape could be slightly smaller or perhaps the letter "f" could be less bold and not so thick. 15 years ago GraySource Logo Designer You mean like this...(This comment references Entry #55) 15 years ago GraySource Logo Designer Here are some more variations...(This comment references Entry #56) 15 years ago GraySource Logo Designer ...(This comment references Entry #57) 15 years ago bthomasdesign Client re#55: perfect. no further changes required on this. need to review with client before determining which direction they like. thanks and good luck. 15 years ago GraySource Logo Designer Here's another try...(This comment references Entry #107) 15 years ago bthomasdesign Client re#107: very clever design. we like many aspects of this. a few minors suggestions: would like to see the graphic lowered just a bit closer the "of". Wouls like to see the 2nd line of text in a medium grey color. would like to see the left and lower portion of the cross shape in a lighter red color. Adding this shade difference still gives the idea of a red cross, but makes the texas stand out a bit more. lots of designers use just headshot style profiles, kind of like the full body look too. nice work. 15 years ago GraySource Logo Designer Thanks. Glad you liked it.Here it is again with your specs...(This comment references Entry #114) 15 years ago bthomasdesign Client re:#114, getting much closer. Can you make the separation line the same red color as the state Texas. would also like to go much lighter with the red color almost a pink color (try removing saturation, but not to the point where it becomes grey). I also just updated the contest brief to have NO color limitations. So show us something color-unique, please ! getting too many red and black entries ...... 15 years ago GraySource Logo Designer Here's the design again with your new specs...(This comment references Entry #121) 15 years ago GraySource Logo Designer Here's the design again with a different color scheme...(This comment references Entry #122) 15 years ago GraySource Logo Designer Another color variation...(This comment references Entry #123) 15 years ago GraySource Logo Designer Here's another...(This comment references Entry #125) 15 years ago bthomasdesign Client re# 121-125. good evolution. here are some thoughts ...re# 121 would like to see the lighte red color have less red in it. then make the separation line the same color as the lighter red.re# 125 - colors are too bland, not a favoritere# 123 - good, no change necessary.re #122. darker clay color needs just a bit more red in it and a shade or two darker, second color is fine ....would like to see a version in blue and also one in yellow...... your choice. let's see what you cqan come up with. one last one, give us your wildest color combo --- have fun with it. 15 years ago bthomasdesign Client re: #55. woudl like to replace the paw with a slightly angled heart shape - just a medium wieght outline though (NOT SOLID) 15 years ago GraySource Logo Designer Here are other version of the design...(This comment references Entry #180) 15 years ago GraySource Logo Designer ...(This comment references Entry #181) 15 years ago GraySource Logo Designer ...(This comment references Entry #182) 15 years ago GraySource Logo Designer ...(This comment references Entry #183) 15 years ago GraySource Logo Designer ...(This comment references Entry #184) 15 years ago GraySource Logo Designer ...(This comment references Entry #185) 15 years ago GraySource Logo Designer ...(This comment references Entry #186) 15 years ago GraySource Logo Designer ...(This comment references Entry #187) 15 years ago bthomasdesign Client thanks for the update. I will take some time this weekend to review all the new designs in detail. ONe real quick one that popped out to me, I'd like to see #181 with a black background and white text for the 2nd line of text. Also, please keep the dog and heart inside the graphic white, but let the seperation lines on the graphic be black. good progression. I think were about done on this concept. 15 years ago GraySource Logo Designer I understand sir. Here is the new revision that you asked for. Will be sleeping now. If you have any other comments or changes that you want me to make, feel free to PM and I'll attend to it first thing in the morning when I wake up.Regards(This comment references Entry #194) 15 years ago bthomasdesign Client re: #181 - would like to tweak this concept once more to add a little pop to it. would like to Bring the "Heart" and "Texas" text closer toward the "of" - this will help make the lower portion of the design not look so boxy. the separation line stays the same and so does the 2nd line of text (just tightens it up).Last. imagine if the graphic was in a retangular box. It woudl go to the same extents as the 1st line of text and would start at the top of the top of the cross and go to the bottom of the cross. This box on both sides of the graphic would be in white agaist the grey background. I think it would just add some more flair to the existing design. 15 years ago GraySource Logo Designer Im not quite sure if I got your instructions correctly but here are some samples...(This comment references Entry #265) 15 years ago GraySource Logo Designer ...(This comment references Entry #266) 15 years ago GraySource Logo Designer You mean like these...(This comment references Entry #586) 15 years ago GraySource Logo Designer ...(This comment references Entry #587) 15 years ago GraySource Logo Designer ...(This comment references Entry #588) 15 years ago GraySource Logo Designer ...(This comment references Entry #589) 15 years ago bthomasdesign Client re: #588. color is good, need to see the crequested changes to the typefont and also removal of the heart next to the dog. thanks .... 15 years ago GraySource Logo Designer Here are some more variations based on your references...I will sleep now.
