Regarding Logo #1 by Husk - Thanks for starting me off. I like the the look, however I would like to go a little bit more memorable or bold if possible - a bit darker green and darker tan as well. A good idea might be to create a mast or a plaque that looks official.

I'm concerned as 24 hours has gone by and there is only one single logo - thanks Husk.

Could any designers chime in as to why this is a contest you are not entering? Should I change something?

Perhaps I should make my instructions more concise and easy to follow: If so:

Company name is "Nutrient Balance Center LLC" The words "Nutrient" and "Balance" should be prominent because the website will be www.nutrientbalance.com

Forget about a picture, I would like only the words along with a Plaque or a Mast background, or some sort of nice border with shading. Colors should include green and tan, or green, black, and white (I'm happy to see other color combos provided green is included). The whole look should be detailed and not cartoony.

For an example, take a look at the logo I just uploaded - this is what I mean by a plaque or a mast. However, I think for this logo it should be stretched more horizontally, lighter green, and more crisp in the lines.

Once again, give me some feedback if anything I'm saying doesn't work from a designer's perspective.

Regarding #2, this is good and going in the right direction. I like the border and the shading at the bottom, as well as the idea of balance that you mentioned. Although I would like some other ideas for mast/plaque look so that there are options - doesn't have to be very close to the example logo I uploaded. Also, I think I liked the word placement in #1 a bit better, maybe a plaque around that shape might work even better? Also, I know I said that I wanted a bolder font than #1 originally, however I think the #1 font might be bold enough if it were in the nice looking plaque and in reverse type (the #2 font didn't hit me quite right).

Regarding #3, thanks a lot for the submission, but the overall look and font is kind of too far on the new-age feel. I'm hoping be seen as natural health, but with a trust that people would normally give to conventional doctors because it is science based. This type look doesn't say "trust" to me. Also I am probably looking for more of a plaque/mast type logo (though I am open to other things) - see my uploaded example logo as a starting point and some of my comments above

Regarding #4, this gets a similar comment to #3 where the overall look is too new-age style. Regarding #5 and #6, the leaf shape doesn't grab me quite right, Again, it doesn't inspire the type of medical trust that I'm looking for. Thanks a lot for taking the time to make these entries however - see above comments for more inspiration and ways to come closer to what I'm looking for.

As a reminder to all designers, Husk doesn't own the idea of the plaque/mast logo, because I mentioned the idea before he/she started designing them. A good way to compete is to design an interesting plaque/mast logo that is "official" looking but also modern and interesting.
