We are an AKC-sanctioned dog club that puts on a variety of dog events each year (conformation shows, agility trials, obedience and rally trials, training classes, educational seminars, etc.).

Brown, Gold, Green, Black (but flexible depending on the design)

We are a dog club with an outdated (and far too detailed/busy) logo. We would like to retain the historical value without including the noose that we've had for so many years. The existing logo is not "clean" or easy to reproduce in either print or embroidered items. We would like something cleaner, but prefer to keep an oak tree in the logo as it is symbolic for our club. Additionally, we'd like to keep a western feel to it. Hangtown is historic as it is where the CA gold rush was, so some ideas could include the oak tree with a wagon wheel or gold pan or something. Nothing too detailed but nothing too simplistic either.

Attached is our original logo, our current logo, one club member's idea for a logo (though still too "busy"), and a list of considerations.
