We like your treatment in #23. It captures many of the elements that we asked for...color pallet is correct, the house icon is a nice touch, and the palm trees in the background are good. A concern that we have is that this treatment might be too busy on a traditional real estate sign in front of the property, however I think we can work with you to make changes that will work. A few modifications we would like to see: 1. Gulf Shores and Vacation Rentals need to be close to the same sized font 2. Font type can be the same or slightly different. Just need to be able to read on a real esatte sign, so fat letters do not work well...they tend to blur together. 3. we would like to see the dark blue at the bottom of the house icon be lighter or incorporate the white cross beam element across the entire bottom. 4. this logo will need to be adfapted to a black and white version for some advertising application, so please make sure that it still makes sense in balck & white. Very good suggestions. I love designing when I get to partner with the end user because they often have great ideas that help us "designers" tweak the design to get the perfect final result! Thanks for all your work on this logo. Just a couple more small modifications and that should be it. 1. please make the G and S in Gulf SHores larger font size than the rest of the letters. Our website URL is www.gsvacationrentals.com so we wnat the G & S in Gulf Shores to stand out a little more. 1a. please make logo with a differnt font type for Gulf Shores...more like cursive writing. See #94 as an example 1b. the color of Gulf Shores has too much color variation.gradation. please make all one color. 2. Make Vacation Rentals font larger. Needs to be close to the same size as Gulf Shores font, but can be a different font type. Hope these modifications make sense. And I agree that the BW version does look good. Thanks, Geoff
I realized you were looking at all these logos on the green background and you need to see them on white because you're not always going to have a green background, so as I was working on this I changed the background to white. I have made a few revsions including some coloration that is in relation to making the logo look better on the white as well as the Green. Vacation Rentals is the biggest text and the G and S are also Bigger. To get the balance right in the box I had to make it a bit smaller and I added the rivets on the ends just to give it detail. The orange is to set the logo off a bit. These are very small on here, so you have a hard time seeing the line detail around the edges sometimes. I am still working on a script test version. -Very difficult to get script text big enough to read and then have vacation rentals underneath without getting covered up. Sorry for the long note... The only way I could rework with script letters was to move them away from the house. They simply got lost by or in front of the house which is where they had to be to get Vacation Rentals the right side. Anyway, I really like how this came out. This is called Choppin script and I think it fits well. VR stands out really well and the house is still prominent. Also, I added the birds, but if you like this, but don't like them than they can be easily removed! Jason
