Grace Funeral & Cremation Services PCLogo Design Contest

Hello All,

I'd like the PC in the name to be a lot smaller than the rest of the script. We are a low cost funeral home and cremation provider located in a strip mall - we've got low overhead and are able to pass savings on to our customer base. Although we are one of the least expensive options for arranging a funeral or cremation service, we don't want our customers to have the impression that they are getting less of a quality product or service. We have a high attention to detail and compassion for all of the client families that we are honored to serve.

We are looking for something classy, trendy and not the funeral home norm of doves, wheat, butterflies etc. Our concept is different than that of other funeral homes, and we want the logo to speak to that fact too. Nothing dismal or depressing please.

#4 & #5 - can you skrink the PC in the name - love the designs of both - can we see them in a few other color choices? maybe a darker blue? possibly also with a picture of some sort?

#6 - couldn't tell what the picture was a flower? don't like the skinny writing. #8 didn't like the symbolizm of the tear drop and a similar tree is already used by a competitor.

#10 I like the script and the color - possible to add a picture of some sort?

Love the designs! Keep them coming - anyone who can come up with some sort of picture to go with the name would be great - I'm stuck on wanting a picture - but not sure what, typical funeral related are wheat and birds and butterflies and flowers, which we'd like to shy away from.... probably makes it complicated for you all!

#19 - we love the simple design or the font and the new box around the funeral & cremation part - can we see the letters darker in that box -

#12 & #13 - like the script a lot - would like to see other colors and also funeral and cremation service made bigger.

Agreed -- a traditional funeral 'symbol' seems a bit trite.
We'll come up with something fresh and appropriate...

Is the PC legally required on your logo?

I'm not sure if it's a legal requirement - haven't gotten a straight answer out of our lawyer yet!
