A modern logo yet with traditional influences. High visibility and easily lends itself to small implementations on the web, as well as outdoor signs, stationary and apparel applications. A black and white version also becomes very distinct.
The shape invites the reader to follow the 'flow' of the text/name and is in harmony with the pronunciation.
Hopefully the midnight blue is the right hue?
Outside the white outline there's a thin dark blue outline - in use when presented on light backgrounds.
We welcome your description of the design, Akerman. Helps us understand and appreciate.
What would a black and white version look like? Seems like the logo is dependent on the "metalic" fade and might be difficult to shrink down for smaller use because of color details?
The font also feels a litte generic. Can you shorten the font with thicker lines? Maybe something close to "the well" design you did or the "cabrera" piece.
Since the 'Well' image still is up for grabs (not sold) maybe I can interest you in using it as a symbol of the abundance of love Jesus feels for his people/followers?
