Design and sell easy, do-it-yourself downloadable PDF printable kits to decorate themed parties, specialising in kids’ parties as well as major holidays/special occasions.

Themes include: Super Heroes, Pirates, Astronauts, Alice in Wonderland, Diva Spa Party, Paris Party, Princess Party, Jungle Safari, Baby Shower, Halloween, Mexican Fiesta, Christmas, Easter.

Am open to suggestions, however I do like blue, green, pink, purple and yellow. While the target audience is principally mothers, the logo has to communicate something playful and fun for their children, both boys and girls.

The logo will be used on light and dark backgrounds, including photographs, so will need a dark and light version that clearly contrast.

While my company name is Glitter Ink Designs, I would like the Glitter Ink part highlighted more (Designs can be de-emphasised).

The visual graphic needs to communicate "glitter" - adding sparkle to paper crafts. I like the use of stars to represent glitter and fun/creativity/imagination. I do not want to see ink blots as this conjures up associations with tattoo parlours or writers.

I like script/scroll type fonts that project movement and dynamism, or a playful handwritten type font, but I like them chunkier, not thin. I prefer not to use standard stock fonts - i.e. I would like to have an original font or at least creative treatment of existing fonts. Fonts that are uneven (e.g. letters are different sizes, or not aligned) help create a more fun, playful tone.
