#38: The dolphin is genius. I never would have thought of that! I like the trees, too, and I like how the branches look like a brain. It's very subtle. The only issue with it is that I think a lopsided tree might send the message that we are off-balance. If I went with the tree, my other thought is that it needs a bit of colour, but for now, it's a great concept. Thank you!

#37: We really want something on a light background, but boy, I really love that light dolphin on the darker background. Now I'm torn!

Thank you, I'm glad you like the dolphin! It made sense with what you were trying to convey since dolphins are known to be very intelligent creatures and the way they swim evokes an abstract "cutting-egde" image. I originally made the tree like that to mimic the brain stem but I see what you're saying with it looking lopsided, I'll work on making it look more symmetrical/balanced.

As for the background on the dolphin, it's standard to have a versions for dark and light backgrounds so you can use it on the dark background depending on the application. I do prefer the light on dark version but it really depends on what applications you'll be using it for the most.

I also just uploaded an outlined version without the shading just to show what it would look like #39

You are absolutely right about the dolphin. I like the message it conveys and the feeling it evokes: Intelligence, communication, gentleness, mult-faceted talent. Really cool.

And you're right about both versions, light and dark. I can think already of how we would use both the light and the dark on the website. It's absolutely lovely. Another bonus is that there is no one in this industry who uses a dolphin. (It seems dolphins are more a destination or sports motif.) I love it.

Thanks again. Fabulous thinking on your part. The group is sure we don't want typewriters, pens, letters of the alphabet, punctuation marks ... and this really fits the bill, getting away from the usual suspects and employing a totally different, far more creative approach. Double-thumbs up!

Would you mind showing #38 with a couple of different fonts? We like the one you chose, but would like to compare it to a couple of others.

Thanks!

Uploaded some alt versions with different sans serif fonts. Were you still interested in seeing script fonts as well, or have you decided to go with a sans serif?

I also tried to incorporate a sine wave like you had mentioned earlier. It's not completely resolved yet, but if it's seems like something you'd be interested in, I can work on it some more.

Please let me know if you want to see more options or any other changes.

Thanks!
