#10 made me think, and helps me add a little direction for you designers (1) I like that #10 shows a chef: the chefs at this event will co-star with the food itself. (2) That said, it's a little cartoonish for us, understandable because you may have seen the piedmontlocalfood.com logo, which is a little cartoonish. (3) Maybe I'm asking too much to even suggest this, but what people will enjoy at this event is prepared (cooked) food, made from the fresh-but-raw ingredients most of you have focused on. Any way to visually show that leap? THANKS EVERYBODY!
To all you great designers -- thanks for your efforts. Re #15, nice effort! I like that the chef is 'serving it up,' though (a) I'd like him looking at me, not to the side, and (b) would like HIM to be less androgynous. And I think the words Get A Taste of THIS! should be (a) no more than two colors, and (b) slightly emphasize the word "THIS."
Re #50, one more round and I think you're gonna be our winner. Let's do this:
1) Lose one dish: the green salad. Instead, put the plate w/the red peppers in his hand. 2) Add one chef on the right: we'll then have three chefs, in a semi-circle, each holding/offering one dish. If the female chef in the middle (keep her holding the steak) has to scoot a little left, fine. 3) The new chef (who'll be on the right) will hold the dessert dish...but see if you can find another dessert choice or two. The strawberry pie looks a little like blood dripping (though strawberries is a good choice).
