Hi, here's my initial idea for your consideration. I made an abstract lettermark in orange. The idea here is that the entire object resembles a target (as in targeting location), but with negative space, I've created a G shape with a simple magnifying lens on the inner "tail". It's geometric, simple, and it's got that kind of symbolism that might not hit people over the head. I love negative space in logos (like the hidden arrow in the Fedex logo)! I'd love your feedback. Thanks!
Thanks for your work on this so far. I would like to see another concept on the mark from you - I think you did a good job and I do like the abstract. I am not as caught up about having a G embedded in there somewhere so fee free to try another mark.
I like the fonts you added. I am probably leaning toward something like the fonts in #26 or #27.
Sorry I haven't gotten back to this yet! I've had a project I've had to work on the past few nights for my day job. I should have time to go back to the drawing board on this tomorrow evening. Thanks!
#138 and #139 combine the font from #64 with the mark from #65.
#140 shows a blue "circle" inside the "o" in geolenz. I don't think the blue next to the orange works so well, so #141 shows a separation between the two. It's a great thought -- to connect the wordmark to the graphic, but the "o" in that font isn't perfectly round like the lens in the graphic. So #142 shows a modified wordmark with a completely circular "o" and separation between the colors -- plus I took it a step further and recolored the wordmark so that the inside circle is the same color (orange) as in the graphic.
Thanks so much! Don't hesitate to let me know if I can make more revisions.
