up to the designer.
a few colors I favor are orange / red / green / blue / grey.
2 colors preferred, please limit to no more than 3 colors.
Must work just as well in black and white.

Our Ideas & Additional Information

Please don't work on letterforms or any initial based designs.
I am not likely to choose one and I don't want you to waste your time designing one
.I would like to build a sense of excitement while keeping the logo simple in form. A few ideas would include a spark, a lightbulb, an exclamation point. I am really more interested in the overall shape and feel.

Hello designers,
Thank you for taking the time to put your efforts into my contest.
I appreciate what has been submitted to date, but I am more interested in a pictorial mark or an abstract mark.
Think geometry. combining shapes to create new shapes

Thank you everyone.
The first few ranks are all very good examples of what I am looking for.
#48 is a great design in it's simplicity. What I like most about it is I can imagine many different branding schemes for the mark. It creates a lot of possibilities.
#77 tried to do the same but changed the inner shape to a circle. while the design is nice, it stops short of having possibility beyond looking nice.

Think simple but smart.

Thankyou everyone for the designs.
It is becoming a difficult choice. The top 25 or so logos are all being looked at as possibilities.
A few keypoints to consider.
make sure the logo works in 1 color. ( solid )
look over a few of the logo samples I have in the brief.
maybe play around with the fonts a bit. try to match your font selection to the icon.
