Entry #95 uses a closed B as requested, but in the same font.
Entries #96 - #101 give you some choices for a basic hue for the abstract. For a logo this simple, I recommend going with one to two pantone solid colors. This is a premixed ink that will make printing less expensive than alternatives. I kept the text in a very dark gray (90% pantone solid black), and then tried a few different hues. I'd be curious to know which hue(s) you're most interested in from among these. Then, if you want, we can try some variations on those colors.
#102 is an example with a bit of a lighting effect added, if desired, for on screen display. It's very subtle, but would have to be for such a small mark.
