What We Do
This will be our CORPORATE logo; adult, predominantly male. We manufacture whole house indoor air quality products and home heating furnace fuel oil filters.
Industry
Color Preferences
Our logo is now red, black, and white. Our building is painted the same, so those are the three colors that need to be used. We do, however, have other logos in black and blue.
Our Ideas & Additional Information
I hate to offer an opinion, as I want to inspire creativity. We were founded in 1937 and are proud of our heritage. We manufacture very different things (oil filters and whole house indoor air quality products such as humidifiers, dehumidifiers, air cleaners, UV lights, and ventilation equipment) and I'm not sure how to "marry" the two in the logo. We were recently told our current logo looks like an oil delivery truck logo (old, outdated, ugly) so we need something fresh. Our first logo (entitled "old logo") was in place 40 years, as is our current (entitled "GF Red Vector"). Time for new. I do picture, clean, fresh, masculine, reflective more of air quality (90% of our business) than oil (only 10% of our business). Our website is: www.generalfilters.com.
