Discussion

Good morning,

We're definitely in favor of your logo but we need to fix the "Z".
Your number #57 starts very well at the beginning with a thicker part, then thin, the turning thicker... beautiful.
The second half gets lost again.
Can you please try to do some variations to the bottom part of the "Z", if you want I can send you (email) some examples of Z's we like?

Also, what program are you working on? CorelDRAW? Illustrator?
Will you send us all the variations if you win?

Thanks a lot. Chat soon,

Simone

PS: It's evening here, so I'll be able to answer before going to bed and then in 8 hours.

Hi Simone,
That's great. Sure I can try more variations on the Z.
I can keep making changes till you are thrilled with it.

Adobe Illustrator. I can send you variations via email after the

The LT site frowns against email contact prior to the end of a contest.

But if my logo is chosen I can still make modification after that.

It's 2 pm here. Tomorrow is my Bday.

Thanks again - Kent

Hi Kent,

Let's work on the "Z"
Let's start from #83: the top part is fine. You start from the top, going right then curving down until you arrive at the same level of the "a". There, I'd like the sign to go muh more left, instead you stop and you go immediately right-down.
Here's an example: http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2581/4099061419_1dc4af1553_z.jpg
It's difficult to explain. Hope it helps.

Thanks,

Simone

Happy Birthday Kent!
#98 is an interesting variation. It's a pity that the font of the Z is stylistically different from the rest of the text. Is there a possibility to make this Z more dynamic like the rest of the text.
What is the original font you started from for the rest of the text?

#84 is also much better. This keeps the dynamism of the rest of the name.

Thanks,

Simone

Thanks Simone!

I'll give it a try. The rest of the text is an altered Sophia Script.

I like #104
