this design is approaching your "bonus points" for an abstract mark and an "rss feed" type icon. DB is written in something reminiscent of an old-school Atari joystick with waves emitting from the antenna or top.
Hi Briscoe. Great work, and thanks for entering. I especially like #71. You've taken this in a direction no one else has. I think we're not going to go in that direction, but not because of the quality; just because of our overall strategy as a sort of content syndicator. I'm going to short-list one of these, though, so that you get the points.
Thanks for the feedback! Nowadays I'm more of a "marketer/art director" than a designer. I've joined this website to brush up on my design skills and enjoy the challenge of working alongside such a talented group! This contest really interested me because I also have a passion for Mac games. I have my own websites: www.macasual.com which features casual Mac game downloads (games provided by Big Fish and Real Games) and www.cubemice.com. While these two websites focus on marketing games - I do have plans to develop a third website called www.play-all-day.com which will focus on free social games and highlight community features.
I'm very interested in your project! I think it's quite ambitious and I wish you all the best!
