What We Do
This logo represents a national initiative to establish Future Child Advocates undergraduate and graduate student organizations/clubs on college campuses whose work is to build awareness, support and understanding of their role in child advocacy personally and within their greater college communities especially related to the areas of bullying and child abuse. Club membership is across disciplines providing opportunities for students to consider including child advocacy in some way in their future professional roles.

Our Ideas & Additional Information
We initially designed a logo (attachment) that tried to represent FUTURE since we were trying to motivate college/graduate students to get involved, learn more about these important advocacy areas where each of us can DO SOMETHING no matter what path we take in life. We all can protect children, i.e. advocate. Thus, we came up with this WINDOW idea-looking beyond or into the world, etc.
We also initially wanted to see if we could have a logo that could allow the logo of a college/university to be embedded in it as well …thus window panes for easy swapping.
BUT we DON’T think this is necessary moving forward IF we have a STRONG logo image for FCA…perhaps each club could just add text, not image under the Future Child Advocates logo w/ wording, e.g. Teachers College (FCA-TC), etc. Attachments are just illustrations of what we used as a “pilot idea”…open to enhanced suggestions at this point.
