Thank you for continuing to "tweek" your design ideas as you listen to our comments....appreciated. Your latest one tackled the age differences very interestingly. A bit too many colors - for us - less professional - your initial circle placed the words very well....top and bottom. Still looking for image representing future .... inside that circle somehow ? Thank you for your ideas.

children ARE our future... not sure what else to put in there... first you ask for gradients and then you say too many colors... I am totally confused by your instructions.

Sorry...trying not to confuse...Healthy, Happy, Supported Children are OUR future...Student clubs on campuses are getting involved in areas (child abuse/bullying) where children are NOT happy/healthy...and they must TAKE A STAND to change that...do their part to make it so. So emphasis is to DO SOMETHING - CHANGE this world - ADVOCATE - Together we can make it a healthier, happier world for ALL children and us, too! Sorry re color comment...somehow we wanted to see colors blend together...not all separate...individual...mixed. Not sure how to state that...but not opposed to Black being used as a base with blue/orange as a highlight. Sorry, hard to describe in words to designers. Apologize for lack of clarity. Appreciate your time/interest.

colors that glen are called gradients... you may have issues printing gradients on some items so best to have a solid version as well. I have a star that is a friendship circle that MIGHT apply... it is hard to illustrate all that you are trying to convey.

Yes....I know....hard to illustrate all. And our focus for these clubs are undergraduate/graduate students who are "used" to the flashy, multi-colored world in which they resonate. So, we felt our logo...in some clean design - clear way...needed to CATCH THEM....make them stop and not just be concerned with themselves and "the buzz"...but issues of concern that affect them...their children, their world...It's sometimes as simple as doing just 1 thing that will push a domino or score that goal. Thank you for your comment....yes....hard to convey...but when we've been able to "light that match" - we've been excited to see what is possible.

totally understand ... I teach ethics to 6th graders...(once a week) it is not an easy thing to get young people enthusiastic about... maybe there is an animal symbol that sparks the message... let me think about this...

Thanks...ethics is a good thing and great to have this a piece of middle school learning....go for it! SPARK is the key...how to illustrate that in a way that "connects" with 19-20+ year olds is the challenge. It's been interesting to us to see this spark to action for students joining these clubs on campuses...child abuse, bullying we believe is a part of their lives...and this club has perhaps been a way to DO SOMETHING to change this world for them and their children...they have "seen the light" and are working to keep it burning in their own way. THANKS for continuing to think about all of this...it does take the Village....doesn't it!

OK totally different direction... but it might catch attention to the message.

Hmm...how fun....I'll see what the student Logo Team folks think...Can you change the blue to a DARKER shade for more "pop" effect? Very creative the star designed as mega horns or whatever they are called, too.

it is a star and a friendship circle... the darker blue may not have as much pop ... I will show you an option

Thanks for your different direction ideas which made clear to the Student Logo team that they needed to decide what style would appeal to their diverse group of participants from many countries and perspectives. They will be looking to more Pictorial and Abstract Mark rather than Emblem or Character as their preference. Simple and Clean design. Appreciated your point about "printing gradients" as well. They also will be using their Logo on professional correspondence with funders so they needed to be sure their logo represented the serious nature of their work as well.
